Ok so she plays 4v4 tdm and she sucks. Like she’s never played in her life before. But she tries. When she plays characters new to her like rein and hanzo, she can’t hit anyone. But she is blocking damage. She is TRYING to hit shots. But THEN…
She gets kicked for inactivity.
Like srsly blizzard some ppl are bad but don’t kick them from a game. If she’s at least moving and blocking with shield don’t kick her. Cmon now Jeff

She’ll get better. Maybe try out some AI Easy matches to get her started?
Edit: Or better yet, set up a private server for you two to work on. I know people in AI sometimes tend to go there to compstomp and she still might have the issue of hitting things in time

OF COURSE we love the game we talk about it all day we love the lore watch the cinematics…
I’m not mad at her ofc just mad that something she loves so much is literally denying her from playing cuz she’s never played a video game and is booting her.
If you’re moving, you don’t get kicked. Make a hashtag for us plz.
I agree with your point, but until Blizzard change this, I would advise her to use rapid fire heroes like Soldier or Sombra. This way she will get some cheap damage which should be enough to be “detected” as inactive.
We just got through a game as Reaper haha. Ok READ THIS NEXT PARAGRAPH:
So I think that blizz doesn’t want you to farm loot boxes by tying a rubber band to the thumb stick and cheating them outta microtrabsactions.
But rein blocking damage should count jeff.

Unfortunately I do believe that is part of what blizzard uses to detect throwers who aren’t contributing so they wouldn’t take it away. Not say she’s throwing I certainly doubt she is but it’s part of their system.
What characters does she like playing?
She likes playing: rein hanzo Reaper zen
She gets kicked from those above except Reaper.
I’ve chilled a little, but getting kicked while playing rein with damage blocked even if you don’t hit anyone should be addressed.
If she’s totally unfamiliar with these types of games, then let her learn in her own pace, through training grounds, then practice range, then vs. AI etc.
Well if I’m taking a guess here her aim may be a weak point , if she wants to put some time aside you guys could set up a custom game?
What I do is sniper only practice so I’ll only have Widow , Hanzo and Ana on. I’ll turn down the enemy damage all the way on everything and max out my damage. First have it set up so as long as it hits you’ll get kills and then to amp it up later on set it up to where only head shots deal damage so the only way to get the kills is to get head shots. It oddly works to help with aim a lot so you could try that with her? You guys could toss in some friends and make it a little competition so it’s a bit more fun.

This has happened to me and some of my friends while playing Ana paintball, the nature of that mode means bad players just keep dying without getting kills in, doesn’t always happen, but it sure can. We had to have some players let them get a kill and then jump off a cliff to remove the kill, it is annoying and I wish it could at least be adjusted in custom games.
