I wanna start off by saying that Juno and Kiriko are perfect, I really dunno who else those characters would go to. But the others are just… Have they even seen the show? Tomura, Deku, and All Might could have gone to WAY more fitting heroes.
All Might - RAMATTRA IS RIGHT THERE WHAT ARE YOU DOINGGGGG. All Might’s biggest gimmick is that he shrinks and grows in physique, KINDA LIKE RAMATTRA. Settling for Reinhardt was flat out lazy, and they know it.
Deku - Venture very easily could have gotten this. I understand why they chose Tracer because of the hair, but Venture’s not too far off on that. Their kit arguably fits Deku more than Tracer’s does. It’s a nitpick but hey, at least Venture would have gotten SOMETHING.
Tomura - Okay, so answer me this. Who is not only the most evil character in the Overwatch universe, but is also known for hands, and has the ability to drain life/decay? Because it’s not Reaper. Honestly, this was arguably an even bigger miss than All Might’s choice. Moira was the PERFECT hero for this skin.
I vaguely wish they would happen because I wanted Endeavor Reinhardt instead…
That being said, I understand. All Might is all about honor and justice. Reinhardt is all about honor and justice. They both smash. It’s cool.
I would have been fine with Venture, but I feel Tracer fits well enough because it’s the protagonist of Overwatch representing the protagonist of My Hero.
Sure, but you’ve got to follow the road all the way down. The devs make skins for Venture. The skins don’t sell. What happens to skins that don’t sell? They get given away as bribes for “watching” Twitch streams or completing event challenges.
I have Popeye Torb, Hippy Mei, Art Deco and Conjurer Sym, Blue Steel Bap, Barista Sojourn, Biohazard Ram, and possibly others I’m forgetting about. By my life, I did not part with a sssingle coin. Not, one, piece of it.
They also wanted to have the character that has the skin to fit the characters too, and lemme tell ya, Ramattra ain’t no All Might
Moira you have a point, but Reaper is definitely more dangerous than she is. That one is probably nitpicking on my part though.
Also what’s with you people and using Venture as a pumching bag for not selling skins? Symmetra is right there and she has plenty of skins. How can you tell Venture skins won’t sell if she’s literally never gotten a legendary skin to be sold? You apes lol, it’s actually crazy how you guys act
You are not looking at hero builds. They “settled” for Rein because he not only looks like All Might and talks like All Might but it actually works as a build. I know you are thinking about thin Ram vs thick Ram and uses the transformation but there is a big problem with that. Thin Ram is still bulky whereas thin All Might basically looks like someone who spent 9 months in the hospital after never having worked out in their life. The build simply does not work.
Meanwhile for Deku, I do not know how you would think the kit fits Venture at all. Deku’s kit is speed and power. Not going underground. Meanwhile again they basically have the same character dynamic. Tracer basically is what an adult Deku would be.
For Tomura I do not dislike Moira except I think she is a little small and thin to be Tomura. When I saw Uravity and Toga, and to a lesser extent Deku, it actually took me a second to realize who exactly was getting the skin because they were that close.
Venture would’ve been great for Deku. The big bushy hair, the big boots, the gloves, venture even has goggles that could be swapped for Deku’s mouthpiece thing. I’m fine with the other skins, Juno as Uraraka is actually perfect.
Why do people do this thing where we act like a hero doesn’t have it’s playerbase?
Sym gets skins and she’s one of the least played heroes in the game. Venture has more people playing them. There’s also zero indication people wouldn’t buy the skin when they’ve never GIVEN them a skin to prove that idea.
Haddie Kaur isn’t comparable because no one PLAYS her. Like at all, I can’t remember the last time I ever saw a Haddie in a game.
Also the battlepass literally exists where you can toss in a skin for a hero “people don’t play” with zero repercussions because they buy the battlepass in total and not just the skin like it is in the shop lol. There’s zero excuse.
A Mei Hatsume skin for Venture would have been cute too. At this point I will take anything for my rock chewer. Did they lay off the one employee who likes Venture or something?
Aren’t the skins just supposed to be cosplay attempts? Like as if the characters watch the show then dress up as said characters? I don’t think Ram a genocidal robo racist would wanna relate to AND dress up as Allmight
Not just the kit, but their personality too! Like, venture is a perfect fit for early series Deku. Rambly, a little nerdy over their specific interest, enthusiastic and a tiny bit awkward, even if it wasn’t as a reason to get venture a skin finally, I’d probably still pick them for Deku.
Also, no Junkrat bakugou is wild, fumble of the century. Not the best personally match but wild, blonde hair, an explosion gimmick and loose-fitting, slouched look are like perfect. Whatever, though why even make a non-waifu skin that isn’t for rein right?
