My alt got banned for being ''too good''? lmao

I made this account to practice Tracer and for fast Q times in QP on Open Queue, and see if I get a rank above Dia in comp. Just show you how busted the report system is. I’m not even a Master player, I’m forever stuck on Diamond. I swear to you. lmao

I’m not crying to get this account back as I’m not a famous streamer that gets their alt back in 5 minutes.

I’m just showing awareness for you people to see how busted the report system is, and no human GM is looking at these reports. And I even didn’t get the email saying the ban reason yet. Below are my numbers with Tracer before ban. My numbers with S76 ‘‘were too much cracked’’ for their system.

There’s a never ending stream of alt/smurf accounts that aren’t banned that are several tiers above you. There’s no way you’re being banned because of this if your diamond even on the luckiest of streaks with “too much cracked” numbers (btw are you quoting yourself here?).

I’m guessing you were caught cheating cos you didn’t adjust the settings properly to make the snap less noticeable :man_shrugging:t2:

UPDATE: I thought I was banned for being reported by players, but Blizzard finally responded but they refuse to explain why.

I was banned for something related to ‘‘due to a violation of the End User License Agreement’’. I don’t know what I did in the game to trigger the ban but I suspect it’s because of the phone number thing.

Lmao. Kragie and Necros got banned midstream. Kragie even got his account back in minutes.

Yeah, I was quoting me. I was averaging 45 eliminations per 10 minutes. I thought the stats triggered the system to ban me. All wrong.

Nope. See the update I posted here.

I suspect we are not getting the full story

After 13 games played with stats like that, the system should be putting you against players of a much higher caliber, meaning that it would be very hard to sustain such high stats, since you would no longer be dunking on much lesser skilled players.

You’re either

Cheating

or

hard throwing every other game on heroes whose stats you’re NOT showing us, in order to keep your MMR from climbing into a territory where pulling down those “much too cracked” stats would be impossible. But since your match replay screen shows several wins in a row, I am not sure this is the case… but it is still suspicious AF.

Oh you mean the update that says they banned you and will not overturn it or tell you the reason(s) why? I don’t see how that proves you were not cheating.

ultimately what happened is, you created an account. It thought you were going to be a new player, it placed you with low skilled players, you stomped them, they got mad, reported you and that is what happened more than likely.

Even though its a system flaw:

The first issue is design flaw.

With a new player account being FREE. They failed to address the first and foremost engineering question with a match making system and that is addressing how it measures your skill.

If it drops you in and thinks you are automatically a ‘bronze’ level noob. It should not.

it should assume you have an unknown number, it should place you into a Q and it should tell you something along the lines of:

“your first 10 matches will not be ideal until we gauge your skill level” Which should mean that it should also warn of very long Q times for the first 10 matches.

Another thing they should address is requirement of playing on a Practice range" to skill check a player while it creates a number.

1 mandatory ai game to gauge a player’s relative skill.
It’ll be easy to set some parameters for different elos that the program looks at.

The middle difficulty one, because a gold player can easily carry that lobby if they try a little bit.

It would at least give some inkling to the system where it should put you. At least in the “above or below silver/gold” sense and then it continues from there.

That way if one has no idea how the game works, it’ll reflect in their stats, and they will also see the ai use different routes on the map not to mention the way they play around the objective.

For a complete newbie it would be a really good thing.

Yeah no, that’s sus AF. Your stats are way too good considering your games played. Almost 40 kills per 10? That’s only possible to maintain against terrible players after that many games unless you’re cheating.

The anti smurf system ranks you up way too fast for your stats to be ridiculous past a few games. Even if you’re winning easily you’re not gonna be getting a 40 kill per 10 average after like 5 games. So you’re cheating, basically.

Exactly. It’s impossible to maintain stats like that.

I didn’t play only 13 games, that screenshot was for myself only to keep track Tracer’s stats from a few hours before I got banned, I played almost 50 games before I could get into comp. but I couldn’t. I had 5 losses that I remember, so it maybe was 43 wins and 5 losses. I forgot to open my profile, so it’s forever stuck in private mode.

The game puts you against newbies in OQ and it was the easiest matches I’ve ever had in this game. They walk in a straight line like bots, so you headshot and use only one clip on them easily. I made another account and averaged 40-38 eliminations per 10m, and this time I recognized a few smurfs trying to stomp newbies with Widow, but I kept them checked.

If I was banned for cheating they would say that clearly. I was banned without any email, and it took 4 days for them to reply to my question and they refused to say it. It’s either the phone number thing or something related to smurfs. I was really impacting the matches, but I just wanted to get into comp and test a theory if it’s easier to get a higher rank with a new account.

Pretty much it.

I averaged that number with almost 50 games. People where I was placed in QP play like bots. You got S76 that keeps frozen in a position shooting you. What do you do? Headshots with one clip. I made another account and averaged 40-38 eli per 10m.

It’s either the phone number thing, many reports, and the GMs and system thought I’m a smurf disrupting matches for new players. But I just wanted to get into comp! I had to play those 50 matches before to get into it.

But one more thing, I don’t care anymore about this account and won’t be playing anymore other smurfs accounts. First, it’s boring and your account pretty much will get banned anyway.

Probably hard throwing games on other heroes to stay low ranked and not showing us, which still means the ban is deserved.

Me throwing games with 5 losses and more than 40 wins. Lmao, lmao even. These people assume so much stuff.

Do you not understand how that makes it a bigger problem?

People don’t stay playing like bots when you have that many wins. I have like 7 smurf accounts dude, I know how this works.

Smurfing isn’t even a bannable offense. You got banned for another reason and it was very likely cheating.

The game’s algorithm doesn’t keep you that low ranked for that long. You’re not telling us the entire story.

The entire story is they were cheating, and were caught.

The end user agreement also covers toxicity, cheating, as well as SR manipulation (deranking/boosting etc.)

Is there perhaps any chance you’ve been banned for stomping new players and then trash talking them for ‘playing like bots and walking in a straight line.’ If you’ve been less than humble about it, that may explain the ban.

Lmao. If I was a cheater I wouldn’t be complaining about the ban. I would just make another account and keep cheating. That’s what cheaters do. They don’t complain about bans. This is a free-to-play game.

The reason I made this post is because Blizzard refuses to explain why I am banned. I just wanted to know that. I want to know if I am banned because reports for smurfing or banned because the phone number stuff.

I have the match chat off. I don’t talk to people in a game that I have to be shooting people. I’m not there to socialize. I only talk, and rarely, to teammates.

Nah you cheated and got caught or were hard throwing on other heroes to trick the system into keeping you in newbie lobbies. Cry about it.

Those newbie lobbies don’t happen for very long when you’re dropping 40+ elims per game. Within 5 games tops you get thrown into the regular player pool and if you’re still maintaining those stats you rapidly get matched into the diamond-gm lobbies.

I don’t even need to see anything else to say you deserved the ban. Those stats are way too far out of line for some so called hardstuck diamond who feels the need to practice Tracer.

So you got banned for smurfing. Good.

Next.
