Muting self options?

Is there a way to silence/mute ones own account from all public/team chats in-game, while allowing talk in group/friends/whisper chats?

I’m tired of being banned for calling people bad at the game, or pointing out how they’re instantly throwing by picking a certain hero, but cannot stop doing this. So I want the game to be able to remove this option for periods of time or indefinitely. Is there a way to do this?

You can turn off autojoin on the team voice chat. However, this is a worrisome thing to mention, since Overwatch is team-based game and negativity can have less than your desired effect on how well people play. Have you considered only playing with people who will want you to provide your feedback/opinion? I see 6-stacks all the time, so you can probably make that happen.
