I know they recently added the push to talk on console, but after playing on PC and going back to console I realized that mute mic would be amazing on console. Especially for people who stream on console without a capture card. It’d be a life saver! Just my opinion though. Lot’s of love, LaviGamer2!
most mics have a mute button and I understand that it would benefit a streamer but who streams ow on console and has enough chat activity to need that feature LOL

Lol, I get you. It’d just be nice though. If I could talk to my team and viewers at the same time it’d be nice, because push to talk is a pain on console anyways. Lol.

I guess I don’t entirely understand the problem you’re having.
Pretty much every officially licensed mic for console has a physical mute button within reach.
If yours doesn’t, and you stream, maybe get one that does.
An audio mixing board or stream deck might give you easy access to more complex options if you need multiple mic channels simultaneously.
In my experience all available buttons on the controller already have a function, and that’s before you try assigning specific voice lines to individual buttons.

Indeed, I understand that. Although with my dream of wanting to be a big streamer and not having any money to do jack, I would just like this feature. I can’t mute my mic in game to talk to my stream secretly without purchasing other necessities for streaming. It’s really just a preference thing as of right now.
