If you’re in queue and want near-silence while you wait, but don’t want to turn off all the music, waiting on the hero menu is good in my experience
BTW, every single menu music ever did the same thing, repeating every time you enter specific screens, but nobody said a word. Not even when they were repeatedly smacked over the head with “DUN DUDUN, DUDUN DUN DUDUNNN” while skimming through past scoreboards during the Transformers collab
The fact that so many people are complaining about this particular one is definitely raising an eyebrow or two

It’s just on the main menu. You hit play in the menu, and it stops just like every other time doesn’t it?
When you que for a game does it shoot you back to the main menu or something?
Yesterday it seemed like there were 4 posts about it within a couple hours

They did. It’s called “Volume” and every device or tv has the ability to turn it up, down, or off! Crazy revolutionary new idea I know. Not surprised so many have never heard of it

I’m not a K-Pop fan, but I find the new tune pretty catchy. I’m sure I’ll get sick of it soon enough lol.

Every piece of music in the game repeats over and over man one reason some of us just turn it all the way off and have spotify on in the background
The OP obviously means to turn off music outside of matches. That however would defeat part of the collab, because playing the band’s music in-game is a key part of their marketing.
The music does annoy me too, but I have a mute button right on my keyboard. So I leave the game muted when I am not in a match, and just flip it back on when the queue hits.
The worst menu music/sound effects for me was Ashe’s Mythic gun. Drove me freakin nuts!

If they just want the menu music off, they can just click the hero gallery and then music along with all of the sound effects go away after like 3 seconds.
It’s still kind of annoying when you are moving around the menus. When reaching the main screen it’s a jarring “BOP BOP BOP BOBPO BOPB”.
It was this way with another collab, I forget which, but the first few bars of that song were extremely irritating, way more than this current one.
That’s why I have it on mute until I get into a match. Maybe the OP doesn’t have an easy to reach mute button like I have on my keyboard.
Just switch off Music…I do not understand why you need to make a post for this…?
And now you have all music muted, that’s not a solution. Games been using a mute button for menu music since the dawn of time.

Yes, it is a solution to this specific problem you are experiencing. So, do it…switch Music back on when the event is over…what is the problem???

EDIT: I have switched off all chat and voice communication…including voice lines and of course, Music
Leave music on → Go to hero gallery when queued → Problem solved
Go to practice range, DM, Custom games, etc. → Problem solved
You wont hear the menu music and the rest of your games will have normal music just as before, that’s not “all music” muted from simply going into the hero gallery.
These are the only solutions for the people complaining, so these quite literally are the solutions as of now (also changing your menu screen if you are on PC, look up how to do it).
I don’t disagree that there should be an option for this specific option, but it’s really…not that hard to do these things until this niche option is added to only turn off music for the menu and not the rest of the entire game.
ive had music off for 2 years now, ive c9’d countless times because the overtime music is off, please give us a menu music slider
