D.va has been kinda shafted when it comes to the event skins, you guys probably see the other thread talking about event D.va skins. While I was on that thread I came up with cool little idea for a Halloween D.va skin.
How cool would it be if the mech was a sarcophagus and D.va was made to look like an undead mummy?
I don’t have any specific ideas for the skin other than that so this post is a little short. Still think it’s cool, hope it can get some notice
i love it but consider this: pumpkin mech with cinderella esque baby dva.
(your idea is great, sarcophagus just have a specific human shape so idk how they’d do it with the mech lol)

Cars and cats also aren’t shaped like her mech but they made it work lol. Just give it the same features
I woudl rather have skins that matches the character than something completely out of place.
Kinda like how all her other skins (except palanquin) are out of place?
Most of them are and that is why she doesn’t have a lot of good skins.
When you see the skin, you should be like “yes, I can totally believe this character would dressing up like that”. This applies for all heroes not just d.va.
mummies arn’t cute though
They could easily make it cute, just put some dark eye makeup and lipstick. Maybe wrap her up in a neat way
if she is going to be preserved in any way, I’d rather she be frozen in carbonite followed by being hung on the wall of my living room.
I don’t see D.va dressing up as a cop, someone from the 50’s or an otaku cat fitting her character much either. I get what you’re saying but sometimes a skin just needs to look cool. Plus it’s Halloween, you can dress up as anything you wan’t.
Plus the mummy and sarcophagus just matches with her and her mech, or at least it matches about as well as Junkrat being a scientist and Roadhog being his creation.
That would be an awesome skin for her!

Well, that is exactly the point. The Cruiser skin can’t get more out of place but at least that one looks nice.
The police skin could actually be canon since it came around the Uprising event and it could be related to her military job.
But personally I appreciate a skin more when it matches the character.
A cute d.va skin will always be good in the same way as some menacing skin for soldier… and a pink dress for reaper

Pink Reaper doesn’t match his character, if you wan’t to use that argument. Plus I do think it makes some sense, the mech protects D.va and preserves her (like a sarcophagus), her gimmick is essentially having a second life (like an undead mummy). D.va acts like a queen (or a diva) and pharaohs were royalty.
And D.va can still look cute or attractive with this skin, they made Mei look like a cute vampire so they could do it with this. D.va herself is cute so anything she does will be cute

Both Mummy and Cinderella D.Va sound pretty awesome to me!
