If one team refuses to switch to hitscan sure she is… Like when you get a Venture and a Tracer as your DPS
Even if they switch hitscan, pharah is a lot more mobile than before - she doesn’t just hang around in the air. It’s not easy for hitscans to get an angle on her as she spams them with splash damage.
I find her much harder to deal with after the rework. Watching some GM streamers, they are having more trouble with her too.

Yeah but you were asking if she is strong. No she isnt into a McCree/S76 or Widow or Sojo. If the dps arent playing Hitscan and she has free reign then she is very strong.

Agree with this. Hitscans just don’t counter her like they used to. She can break LoS so much easier now. And her rockets are easier to hit with.
Widow is her hard counter now imo. Even pocketed, every other hitscan have a harder time closing the elim against her. Its pretty apparent to me.

And your missing out on the point. Youre asking if she is strong. I said no IF there is a hitscan. If there isnt she is. I answered your question.
You wanted our thoughts then trying to berate us. This is my thoughts.
A good pharah can basically lock down the entire lobby… I still think she should sound like a jet engine when flying, floating, hovering, falling, or walking. OW philosophy has always been high damage heroes make a lot of noise like reaper or cass why is it pharah can be almost silent in the air?

Pharah is fine. Pharah-Mercy when you are the only hitscan and your supports both ignore you while only helping their pre-made tank friend and also blame you for not countering 40% of the enemy team, are not fine.

in gm they have what some might call the best hitscan in the neighbourhood, so if streamers in gm and streamers who aren’t gm anymore saying that pharah is strong then i’ll take their word for it

She is. In the right setting. She has it over other heroes. But if you put a GM Pharrah Vs a GM hitscan my money is on the hitscan. Pharrah is not OP nor is she underpowered. She is right in the middle and a decent pick.

Projectile speed buff made her more consistent. I also like her new playstyle where you are not hovering in the air anymore as further as possible to benefit from your no-falloff spam advantage, but instead you are forced to commit to get value using her overall kit aggressively (shortage of fuel). And it works, I think she is kida busted, feels good playing her even in the ranks I would never have picked her before. She works great when the conditions are met, still demands some pocketing, but now it is not as necessary from a mercy as enough from other supports just keeping an eye on you (LW, Kiri, Ana, Zen). Her mid-fight potential is now greater than before, you are not just a barrage farm-bot, but are able to kill stuff if performed well in early stages of the fight.
Phara is only strong against players with a bad Aim. Just like DPS Moira.

Back before the rework, i easily sniped her out of the sky with mei XD
Now you more often than not need a hitscan to deal with her
Nowadays, Pharah’s new kit with increased speed, both movement and rocket travel time, and health all give her a leg up on most hitscan opposition, even in T500 lobbies where hitscan players seldom miss their shots.
