You know, Competitive would have better tank players.
it also has more toxic players. Choosing to play either QP or comp is pretty much being between a rock and a hard place.

lol the reins that shield bot are actually useless and cringe me. Orisa is better for that
I’ve cited this many times on here……the most annoying thing in OW to me is when an attacking tank puts up their shield at the choke and just stands there….especially reins…you are contributing next to nothing!!

in an alternate timeline, the Rein has lowerered his shield, tried to make a move, died immediately after being hacked, slapped, stunned and discorded.
and Tidelaw from that timeline makes an forum post about why Rein didn’t raise his shield…

There is a time and place for everything. If a Rein NEVER has his shield up, that is a problem as well. But people who not even attempt to do more than just Shield up are worth less than those who make an attempt to engage.

I still think most of this complains are made by people who dont look at their rein even.
After i got:
a) complained about not pushing when i died in grav
b) getting melted when i made few steps but still to passive
c) or teammates complaining about tank not pushing, when they are AT OUR SPAWN area, and im on point fighting people (in koth mode)
Besides that honorary mentions
a) rein why didnt you blocked all dmg, as i was hacked by sombra from behind where my “teammates” were
b) rein why didnt your blocked dmg from phara ult, when my shield broke on it and i died too in this scenario from phara ult dmg
I simply think its just as people complaining about widow, because they dont see her, even if she gets picks from range what she is made for. Just looking for easy blame.

Rein’s been duped one too many times by unreliable team mates. Now we have one more timid tank, a drop in a huge bucket. Equal parts his fault, as well as his team.
Real alphachad reinhardt’s never use shield and press charge whenever it’s up
I’m always sympathetic towards defensive Reinhardts. If your shield gets burst down or you’re at low health before you can reach the choke then pushing is just straight up suicide. It’s a team game after all, Reinhardt isn’t a one man front line.
Spend less time blaming your team mates and more time trying to figure out what you need to do to help Reinhardt through that choke, and I gaurantee you’ll get less with cold feet.

That does not work with Reinhardts that put their shield up in any situation. They slowly advance, full health, with a pocket. That might’ve worked with the launch of the game, but today, it is a death sentence. You do not make enough space, you don’t do any damage, and all you give is ult charge.
Youre on a smurf and you are complaining about lower sr players not playing as well as your main
