that is one of the things that depresses me about roadhog right now at least in terms of watching the overwatch league, he counters a lot of the meta but still sucks so much that no one uses him 
that said on ladder its a different story and hog goes well against those characters(if the enemy team doesnt have a counter to hook but they will have a counter to hook) but think about how much more you would like hog if he could heal your entire team and give them some damage resist
even some of the best tanks in the main are massive fans of the experimental changes
that said when i am hog i love when the enemy winston has got my mercy in a corner and has almost killed her then i hook and whole hog i do not rate whole hog at all however against winston especially an angry winston its just say bye to winston in half a second
