Mouse sensitivity issues continue

Ok, I’ve posted about this topic several times and people have just ignored it. This time I actually just threw up my hands I bought a new mouse thinking my issue with the mouse. The issue I’m having is my mouse sensitivity will shift during gameplay quite alot.

I had a g402 logitech. It was happening at least once every 20-30 mins upon death. My sensitivity would suddenly jump so high suddenly that I would have to set my sensitivity to 1.00 and it was still too high. I would then have a period when that would change back and I would have to up it to anywhere between 3.00-7.00.

My Dpi was locked at 2400 and I didn’t have ANY settings unlocked beyond that. So it shouldn’t have been able to go beyond that yet it did every time I played. I eventually decreased it to 800 dpi and just increased the sensitivity to make it normal. It didn’t help, the swings were just higher. Based on nobody having this issue(or at least responding) and not being able to fix it I came to the conclusion it was my mouse.

Bought a corsair saber to get something that would be at least functional and prove to myself that the g402 mouse was faulty and I could get something better in the future. The mouse has the same issue…the EXACT SAME issue. The swings aren’t as big but it’s there. I go from having a normal sensitivity to in the middle of the match having trouble aiming because the sensitivity decreased suddenly upon death.

I’ve reinstalled overwatch 3 times, my operating system has been reinstalled once. WTF could be causing this. I play several other FPS games and plenty of PC games…none have this issue with the g402 and I’m positive the Saber will be the same. The common factor is Overwatch.

It’s really hard trying to get better at aiming because this issue is constant and I have to relearn my sensitivity 1- 8 times before I end my play session depending on how long I play. If anyone has any information that would help me please throw it out there. I’m desperate at this point. This issue makes me not want to play anymore.

I’m having this exact problem as well with my G502. It only happens in Overwatch, and from what I can tell it doesn’t happen in the training range, only in actual games.

My sensitivity goes from my normal 350Dpi/15sens to what feels like almost triple that.

It’s nigh on unplayable like this.

I figured out why it happens, I just don’t know how to fix it. The Logitech G402 allows the user to set up a mouse profile via software, the Logitech G HUB, that lets you set up things like custom DPI, behavior of keys and even macros. All this is software defined though and only works provided the G HUB is running.

When you enter Overwatch though, it is like it bypasses the software and the mouse starts behaving like in it’s stock settings.

Logitech G HUB allows you to save the DPI profile to the mouse internal memory, and in this mode sensitivity works fine, but the mouse no longer supports custom keys and macros, those things require that the mouse is submitted to software defined profile.
