My Right Mouse Button Click is sporadically glitching. It has been going on for a while now, and I have tried everything basic.
- Updated drivers
- Closed down overlay programs
- Scan and Repair
- XBOX DVR is set to off
My mouse is a Logitech G-403
The glitch in-game causing the right button to not be registered all the time.
For Brigitte, that means that when Barrier Shield is up, it sometimes shuts down, then up again, and down again etc. (and yes, Barrier is at full health).
For Moira, it sometimes means that I cant do Biotic Grasp, and on the list goes for the Heroes.
Basically it means I cant play the game right now, so please help.
I can see online when I do a search on the issue, that there has been similar issues regarding this, so I reckon that its not something new?

Happens same to me when i play widow, ana and ashe
I have changed my mouse to a “non-Logitech” mouse, and no issues here…could the Logitech Mouse be the problem? I’m close to a 100% sure that the mouse is not broken.
I have the exact same problem with the same mouse. I have these problems mainly when I play Doomfist in deathmatch (I like that a lot). I need to charge my rocket punch ability a lot with my right mouse button, but every now and then it spontaneously releases the charge too early, while I am still holding down my mouse button.
I have not been able to reproduce this in the training mode. That makes me feel that it is indeed an Overwatch related problem. I have done no further updates.
Also, I feel like my mouse is jumping a tiny little bit every once in a while, although I am not sure if this is an actual problem or that my mind is tricking me, because Overwatch is still very playable for me (except Doom in deathmatch since latest patch). These little mouse jumps have been going on for the past four weeks or something. Now that I have problems with Doomfist as well, I start to think these problems are related.
Just like the topicstarter, I have done everything like updating drivers and cleaning the sensor of my mouse, etc… But I keep suffering from these tiny glitches in Overwatch.
I really love this mouse, so hopefully we will find a solution =)

It has been some time, but all of my problems were resolved after I bought another copy of the Logitech G403. Apparently, my former G403 was simply getting old, and the weird situation-related right-mouse click issues were likely due to faulty hardware, in the end.
I have not experienced any of these problems on my new G403, which I have been using for nearly 8 months now.
To further elaborate on why this happens:
The button contacts wear out over time. It’s hard to notice when you’re just doing tasks on the desktop, but when you are holding them, they often lose the connection because the metal plate is worn out. This is why mice are rated for x many clicks.

Happens to me too. Just started this motnh though. And doesnt appear every game. And its mostly an issue if i jump or get thrown. Means with Doomfists uppercut i have no chance with Ashe to aim any shots at him. Really annoying. And i might not jump in a combat with another sniper.
