Mouse not tracking "right"

I began having this problem with my mouse a couple weeks ago, and it kinda made me quit overwatch for a while :frowning: I have NO clue what could have caused it.

Whenever i’m in-menu, on google, in battlenet etc. you know, doing “normal” stuff, my mouse tracking/movement is normal and no problems there, but as soon as i join a game and the gamestart countdown hits 0, my mouse begins to not respond properly to the physical movement of my mouse.

Wierd example: When i’m on google, my cursor moves 3 cm, whenever i physically move my mouse 3cm. BUT as soon as a game starts in OW, and NOT in training, only ingame. When ingame i physically move my mouse 3 cm, and ingame it only moves 2,5cm or 2cm. (sort of random how well it responds)

Short summary: When doing ANYTHING else than being in a live match, cursor responds well to mouse movement, but as soon as the game goes “live”, it responds wierdly.

I’m using a razer mamba mouse. (have just updated my razer synapse driver)

Try to change your screen resolution to 1280 x 960 p while choosing maximum resolution in game options - your case is similar to mine by your description and that operation above worked for me.

I’m having a similar problem lately. Only when OW is running, my mouse tracking suddenly starts acting up. It will move at a crawl for a few seconds, and then it will suddenly zip across the screen. I have no problem when OW is not running, even in other Blizzard games, everything is fine. But as soon as I start OW, I get the problem.

I am reinstalling the game now, when it finishes, I will try the video settings. For the record, I am using a Corsair RGB gaming mouse and my CUE auto-updates.
