This happened today while in comp. I was playing Moira, and for no apparent reason I lost control of my character after cursor appeared on screen. It looked like in-game cursor. My Moira walked into a pit.
Then I turned off the game and rejoined it, but it was same stuff after spawning. After another restart, it was gone.
I want to know what causes this bug to avoid encountering it in the future.

If a cursor is appearing mid-game, this may be due to a background program, such as something with overlay features, interrupting game processes and switching input focus briefly.
If you know of any overlay apps you’re running (Discord, Twitch app, etc.), you can try exiting them, but if you’re not sure, we can try a process to sideline all your background apps.
The following steps will reboot into a ‘light’ mode where only the bare essential programs are running:
Closing Background Applications
After rebooting into this mode, please retry running the Battle.net app and playing as you normally would.
Then if the game works correctly, you can refer back to the article for advanced steps on figuring out which program is interfering.
