Since Xbox is now going to allow mouse and keyboard support. Will it be possible to add it to Overwatch? And match mouse and keyboard players with other mouse and keyboard players on Xbox?
Also, if crossplay does come, will we be able to play with/against PC if we have a mouse and Keyboard?

Yes I agree! I hope Blizzard seriously looks into this. I think the ideal state would include cross platform play. Controller users from Xbox and PS4 play together, and mouse/keyboard users on Xbox (and PS4 if/when that becomes available) play with PC players.

Just keep all the mouse and keyboard players as far away from me as possible and I don’t have a problem.
And I would love if they enabled crossplay. There are a few people on PS4 that want to play with me, including a streamer (he’s small, only averages about 30 viewers a stream, but he’s my favorite streamer)

Yeah, I don’t think you’d have to worry about that. I feel pretty confident they wouldn’t mix controller players with m&k players.

Pretty sure PS4 has pretty much always had M&KB support, just few games used it. FFXIV uses it on PS4, and a few others.
Developers just aren’t building in the support for it, cause “Console.”
In any case, I use a Tartarus/Orbweaver on PC, so I wouldn’t “downgrade” my controls to an keyboard to play on a console.
M/KB is going to completely throw things out of balance unless they completely shut down the aim-help that the Console version has. Otherwise, people with controllers are going to be destroyed by M&KB users due to how quickly and accurately they can aim, coupled with the help the game is lending them.

That’s why I said they should be separated. Console players won’t last versus the mouse and keyboard. And when Cross play comes, maybe it’ll queue us up with PC players of we have a M/KB plugged in.
