Mouse and Keyboard on consoles, Controller support on pc

Now mouse and keyboard support is possible can it be enabled on Xbox and Ps4? Since back then the team said that they object unless both hardware companies openly support mouse and keyboard for all which now both companies already support. I think its possible for
-Input matchmaking only m&k users on console are on the pc version balence changes and play against pc users
-Disable input switching in game for controller vs controller players
-Disable xim4 devices

Regards to this issues like the split playerbase is true but xim4 being disabled players would quit regardless or play against pc users but if cross play between consoles is possible should addressed this issue.

Coming from someone that owes both copies on PC and Xbox its frustrating that certain things are left out on the pc version. I’m not sure if this is true but auto aimfor controllers was orginally in the pc version of the early beta but taken out afterwards due to some cheating issues I believe? Regarding controller support it would be great if on pc its consistent like on consoles
-Native dualshock 4 support
-Auto aim ONLY with a controller connected and enabled

To be honest I didn’t expect Dualshock 4 controller support to be absent from this version. Auto aim should be and only supported with ps4 or xbox controller plugged in and hybrid set ups (controller for movement mouse for aiming, steam controllers) are excluded.

I assume you mean aim assist. However, I’ve never seen dualshock 4 support on PC games, probably because Microsoft owns Xbox as well as Windows. And, controller support is useless for a competitive shooter.

I could care less for controller support on PC, but I’d rather not have Mouse Keyboard native support on console. The reason that I (and probably many others) play on console instead of PC is to avoid playing with a Mouse and Keyboard

Your right about aim assist but some pc games do have ps4 controller support. Regarding controller support there are heroes you can enjoy without a keyboard and mouse Winston, Brig, Rein etc more options wouldn’t be pointless.

I dont get it…why would u even play with mouse and keyboard…on ps or xbox? Go on pc if u like aiming like u should…with mouse

Fortnite does this only input match making controller against controller, mouse and keyboard against mouse and keyboard.
