No. Its an advantage especially with the really nice products like Xim but so are nice controllers that have a similar price range.
The best console players all play on controller and while the Xim players do have an advantage its still very very possible to hit GM on all roles without a xim or even 120 fps from the new consoles.
Theres a PS ball player named dinks that hit 4700 (rank one) played on 60 fps on a PlayStation in OW1.
I was able to hit 4300 on tank with a controller and 4100 on dps with a controller.
I do play on mnk now and Iām around 4500 on tank and 43 on dps. I suggest getting one if you plan on swapping to PC like I do.
Another nice bonus is that you can use your MNK on games that have native mouse and keyboard input like Fortnite and Sea of Thieves that all feel much nicer and more accurate then the emulated stuff that adaptors do.
(another little side note is that 120 fps and even nicer controllers like ones sold from razor and xbox themselves have buttons and extra options to help control your aim kinda similar to macros but on a lesser degree.
Xim supports no macros and is simply there for people who want to play with different types of controller (mouse and key being one of them)
No my XIM is pretty clunky and not a kbm experience.

Yeah Id rather have native MNK and Vs PC players now that the newer consoles are pretty powerful and similar to most medium level PCs

i donāt really understand why we have " cross-play " while i canāt play with mouse and keyboard in PC pool with my friend who only play on pc. if i play with controller in pc pool my aim is laughable compared to others on pc and devs call this " fair " ? in fortnight you can play with anything you want other games doing that too ā¦ i donāt see why canāt i play with mouse and keyboard IN PC POOL ā¦

It is quite laughable that something so simple like adding input crossplay for players on console who want to use keyboard and mouse and play with other kbam players. But sigh overwatch has always been behind in doing something they should.

Offcourse itās cheating. Iāve been getting really annoyed from all the XIM users in my game recently. And no, people do not use it for āaccessibilityā reasons. Open any website advertising XIM and itās clear itās marketed towards gaining a competitive advantage that your not supposed to have.

I bet $5 if Blizz allowed native K&M and put those players in PC lobbies, none of them would stop using their little adapters

I would and alot of others would too. PC is more fun and I have more PC friends then xbox that play OW and since I can play in PC lobbies and still go and play another xbox game I donāt have to choose.
Whats the difference between better monitors and controllers that have extra buttons and mnk adaptors.
120 FPS and Xim give similar advantages to each other should we classify better equipment that is not against tos all banable?

Im also T500 on controller. Ive played both. I prefer xim just like I prefer a 120 fps monitor or a nice chair/desk but some of my friends donāt want to play with a xim user so I plug my controller in.
Of course its cheating. Is this even a question
