I’m a tank main on XBOX with hundreds of hours played who is in diamond and has peaked into masters the last couple seasons, and in the last several months I’ve seen a big increase in how many players are blatantly playing using mouse and keyboard.
It’s not hard to tell when you watch the kill cams when they consistently pull off turns or flicks that a controller physically can’t do. I report every single mouse and keyboard player and get the “thanks for reporting” notification fairly often so I know it’s a problem for many other people to. I honestly would be interested in knowing what the true ranks on XBOX would be if there was a way for Blizzard to detect and disallow mouse and keyboard on their console platforms, and if there were a way to do something about the huge amount of smurfs/boosters/boosted players. (I will admit I’m somewhat contributing to the problem with alternate accounts, but the difference is I always play to win, and I’m trying to learn new roles on those accounts, not just throwing and then pub stomping.)
Any console players out there? What are your opinions on the mouse and keyboard players? What do you think about the fact that you can create infinite free accounts and smurf/boost with no punishments?
MnK is legitly supported by the platform and blizzard has no policy against it, so you’re the bad person here. A salty toxic person who abuses the report feature.
Blizzard has mentioned themselves it is a form of cheating.

I climbed higher with my controller than I have with KnB because very few heroes gain the boon from it.
It is a buff to widow mcree tracer. However they were designed with it keyboard in mind. I dont use aim assit i just want an authentic overwatch experience.
Blizzard also said not to report it, so it is false reporting.
False reporting is a bannable offense.

Can you show me where they said not to report it? If I see something official saying it is a false report then I will stop, but if it’s considered cheating I do it see why or shouldn’t be reportable.
You’re wrong on this, dude. Mouse and keyboard is supported natively on the console in the console menus only, not ingame. Mkb use has to be enabled by the developers and is not enabled by OW devs; the only game I know of that has support enabled for it is one of the Final Fantasy games. The people using mouse and keyboard in OW are using third party adapter that maps Mkb inputs to controller inputs.
I think you should go complain to XBox buddy not here.

I just bought a Pc for Overwatch today and it is so easy to aim with Key and Mouse… And i thought ppl on pc where all pro aiming… I cant wait to go as pc player in console it is harder except moving around… but you can aim faster and better…

I have personally tried xim4 for overwatch and it doesn’t work correctly. There is delay in the movement and it’s extremely clunky, you also can’t move the crosshair accurately. Blizz did something to make it not work right. I think you might be misidentifying what you’re seeing in replay.
Really, go out and buy one and try to use it with Overwatch. I was far more accurate using the controller than the mouse, and I have very good aim with a mouse on PC games.
