Its cheating. The definition of cheating is an “act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage, especially in a game or examination.” using a mouse and key board puts you at a higher advantage due to being able to react faster than any person on controller.
If this isnt a bannable offence for cheating on console, the overwatch team needs to reevaluate their decisions.

im thinking about doing it because that is the only way to make it fair. then stop once they can do something about it. but if it takes as long to ban the km as it has been for them to fix matchmaking. its never going to happen

There is actually a feature for other FPS console games that detect KB&M usage. Blizzard is just lazy and hates console players, and they don’t wanna admit it.
