is mouse acceleration software safe? i used to play with m acc and i was wondering if it was safe to use the driver from mouseacceleration dot com
i mean is just a mouse acceleration program so isnt a cheat or something but i was curios since koovaks and others said its legit. i used to play with windows acceleration and this program helped me a lot during the time

As I understand it, it makes your cursor move farther when you move the mouse faster. For example, if you move your mouse slowly from one side of the mousepad to the other, it’ll only move the cursor a bit. But if you move your mouse quickly the same distance, the cursor will cover much more distance.
I always turn this off so I always have a 1:1 match. It’s much better to have your cursor (and crosshair in game) move the same amount no matter how quickly you flick your mouse. Otherwise it can be inconsistent when trying to flick aim, you end up sending your crosshair all over the place. I have enough problems with accuracy without having to worry about my settings screwing with my crosshair placement.
I’ve used interaccel and rawaccel for a long time and it was safe.(They were my startup program in windows.)
I mainly used them to adjust sensitivity precisely b/c many singleplayer games have a very limited sensitivity option(only integer and still too high even if it was the lowest sensitivity for example). I could adjust my sensitivity like 0.89878298347.
