Most voted map should always win

Funny how Aatlis appears very often in the elegible map choices, it just happened to have 1 vote against 7 and it won nevertheless. Clearly RNG, Blizzard.

I don’t care if there are maps that will never be played, that’s how a democracy should work, and by the way I don’t trust Blizzard’s RNG.

No. That would be boring.

At least this way there’s still a chance of variety. Playing the same maps over and over would be tedious af.

Who are you answering to? It was not a question

If you can’t handle people disagreeing with your ramblings. Don’t post them.

Other people do care.

The point is that the voting is biased, not only for the maps that are eligible but also because the RNG is not that random

if 1 map just coincidentally appears more often than others that would still be random.

You got any data on this? Or is this just a weird feeling you got?

something having 12% chance of happening, happened. unbelievable.

if this, then the same map should never pop up twice, not even the same game mode.

after a escort map, it should be impossible to get another escort cancer.

Yes, it was.

Stop the conspiracy nonsense.

at first i thought the rng only happened because two maps get the same amount of votes (because the first game i played it was coincidentally indeed evenly split between two maps)

i was genuinely shocked to see that the vote only increases the chance, even if 9 vote on one map and just 1 person votes on another theres still a chance the 1 vote map gets picked

I think if the vote is like 9 to 2, the nine should win if it’s 5 to 5 then it should be rng. But at the same time if the most voted map always one it would start getting tedious, playing the same maps over and over.

Any data proving otherwise?

What is even the point of map voting then?

Why would I collect any data if I don’t believe anything is wrong?

Getting popular maps being played a bit more, unpopular maps a bit less, and detecting outliers which often get 0 votes. It’s not that complicated.

You realise you’re the one making the claim something is up.

The burden of proof is solely on you.

If you can’t provide said proof… The claim immediately falls over.

I still prefer “outlier removal” instead of majority win
