The overwhelming majority of players want an MMR reset so why not just do it?
How did you reach that conclusion? WHen this bug happened it was very clear in all posts that the majority is against it, and for very good reason in my opinion. Sobody should want months and months of messy games only for the vast majority to end up right where they are now because contrary to what most seem to believe that is where they belong.

Vocal minorities are vocal minorities.
A lot of people came on to naturally complain but it seems most people actually want it reset.

id rather get rid of hidden mmr and only match based on sr. why should high mmr players have to play harder games than low mmr players in the same rank.

I’m still wondering where you get this most want a reset idea? What people post on the forums is one way to judge what the community wants, although usually not a great one. Why a reset is a bad idea has been explained by Blizz and dedicated forum users over and over for years though.

People who want to see the world burn, want an MMR reset. It’s pretty obvious the pure and utter chaos that beset the players, when it DID happen.

But haven’t most of the minorities gotten their way in this game.
Friends, streamers, youtubers, content creators and some influencers and their entire audience.
I only saw people complain on the forums.

What of the streamer GM level players, who were playing against gold players, gaining 2 SR per win? Or what about those same GOLD players who were playing against the GM?

What about it? It’s a reset, like starting all over again.
It’s not going to magically improve your game, nor will it make you win any more often, nor will it award you additional SR per win. You as a player are responsible for all of these things. Improve your game, defeat your opponents, and beat the average.
The average will not change simply because it’s reset, it’ll just become messy for a while before reaching the same point.

Unfortunately, SneakySquid I have not. Classes have been time consuming and tiresome. Correct me if one of my statements are wrong again. : )
No its not, but its time, EVERYONE was on an equal footing at least once without having to buy a new account to try for a different outcome because the MMR is stopping them climbing on their mains.
No they dont. Many players just dont care about it. But it doesnt mean they think its good idea. I know I would like to have it, but i know it would be disaster for Overwatch.

I believe that the game has been out for over 3 years and we have a better understanding now of the game than we have ever had.
An MMR reset will only help put everyone in their place.
Might be time to shut down the comp and go sit in the part and soak up the sun and reflect on life mate. Cheer up, you are working towards a goal which is a good thing, not many can make that claim.
