I call it fishing with live bait.
Protect your supports and dps, let the elims come to you.
Anyone got any good peeling stories? All anyone hears about normally is teamwipes, aka ult combos.

The potatoes I peeled earlier turned into some lovely Wedges.
The potatoes I peeled for earlier died so
I’ve peeled an apple all in one peel then pranked my lil’ brother into thinking the peel was a whole apple.
What is wrong with you?
The skin is the best part.
(But good joke)
It is… depending on the type of apple
The potatoes I peel for keep rolling into the deep fryer.
There was this one time when a support was screaming about not being peeled for and I was like, “Yeah, homie? Where da fine heals at, then?” And they was like, “oh hell nah! If you want my goodies, you better peel for me, player.” And I was like, “Nobody want yo stanky heals regardless.” Later in the match, a Genji was coming at them, ready to snatch that weave and she were like, “help me, pls, I heal you.” I just stared at her and was like, “den do it now” and she cry. The end.
I don’t like cucumber skin, so I peeled it and ate cucumber slices.
I love peeling with Lucio. Booping a Rein off of the team. Booping a charging Rein is my extra-special favorite. The peel power of boop is fantastic!
I cri errytime.
Not an overwatch peeling story, but I wasplaying 2v2 arenas with my arena buddy on WoW the other day. We play double dps and it’s common for us to fight healer / dps teams.
We had a match where they were focusing my buddy (paladin) hard. He’s screaming “AHHH WOAH WOAH MY HEALTH” I scream “I GOTCHU FRIENDO GO GO GO RUN FOREST RUNNNNNN” as I stun a druid that was about to kill him, my pet (citizensnips) heals my friend at 2% health as I speed boost him to safety before killing the druid.
It was very scary.
Hiding behind a wall/structure and telling my Mercy to peek through a bit so the enemy DPS sees her, she turns around and runs away, bringing me the unwary Doomfist, Tracer, etc.
It’s all about that steel trap.
watches a Doomfist slam into it
I was defending Numbani’s first point as Doomfist and I took on the role of being Ana’s enforcer. The enemy team’s DVA kept harassing our Ana only for me to swoop in and keep knocking her off the balcony. Then she rage quit.
I had a flanker Brigitte to deal with once. I just kept putting my trap in the same spot and looking the other way while staying in her LoS. I trapped her 6 times but I wager I could have gotten more if I realized she was a zombie sooner.
Oh, so that was you? Those were some good plays, GG. You really got me. After the first time, I was like, “they would not put it in the same place.” After the second time, I was like, “that is a coincidence.” After the third time, I was like, “well, it is third time’s the charm, after all. He just got lucky.” Fourth time, I was like, “I am never falling for these master strats again.” After the fifth time, that was my cats fault, actually, he walked in front of the screen and I could not see the trap that I was totally looking out for. The sixth time was intentional. Just to see if you were paying attention.
So yeah, like I said, GG. That was really intelligent play on your part. Ha ha… Definitely outplayed me. With your skill. No hard feelings, buddy. It was fun. A lot of fun. Definitely fun. Fun.
I really hope that was legit what happened, that poor Brigitte.
“I’ma be a rebel and flank, they’ll never expect it”
I’ll admit, everything after the first time was completely unexpected
She was too angry to even pay attention to her surroundings
“But I picked Brigitte in bronze, why didn’t I win? Game is rigged.”
It makes Junkrat vs Genji a lot of fun too, if I don’t forget that he has deflect, I can be sure they’ll forget that swift strike < a bear trap.
I got one.
back in during the mass rez days in competition . I had got a team that was running triple DPS on defense on Gilbrator. So we ran 1 tank 2 healers. We lost the first point fairly quickly and one of my team mates told me to go tank. I asked her “are you sure”. She said “yeah, this wasn’t the first time she solo healed”.
I picked Winston. I was in the crammed room on the left chasing a Soldier 76 back to his spawn. I heard the enemy Genji pop Ult I knew he wanted our Mercy and had her dead to rights. So I used primal rage traveled from the front of the hanger to back of the hanger is 2 jumps. I pushed that Genji back, he didn’t get a single cut form his dragonblade. He died and that set the tone for the rest of the fight. They didn’t move that payload no more and my Mercy ended the fight with 1 death in the entire match.
