Most important question in the world!

Is it possible to over season a steak?

If you can’t taste the base ingredients, then it’s too much seasoning.

Can you undercook a steak?

As like as you got it to blue then technically no. But blue is gross

Technically no, it’s not like chicken where a temperature must be reached for it to be safe to eat.

That being said, a rare steak is absolutely disgusting.

Bro, Rare steak is preffered if done right, but most times ill go for medium rare if i dont trust the grill master, if Gordon Ramsay is grilling ill go with a rare

I like between medium rare and medium but more on the side of medium because it feels more cooked rather than having just the crust cooked. I don’t like red juices coming from the underdone center but its my opinion.

I don’t like when it bleeds onto my plate. :slightly_frowning_face:

I do like a nice, warm, pink center though (giggity).

My mother talk me a neat trick while she was still around. This will sound terrible but trust me. If you cook to rare, let it rest, and then nuke for like 15-20 seconds, it’s still rate but not bloody :open_mouth:

I wonder if heating it back up on a hot plate has the same effect.

Woah, im definitely not doing that. Can i finish it off in the oven? Haha

The bleeding aspect of a rare steak is the best. It makes me feel alive, like I’m tearing into a still living cow.

Its actually not blood. Its called myoglobin. Sorry to burst your bubble haha

Do you need to set it on something to soak up the myoglobin that seeps out? Or does it just evaporate?
