Woohoo we’ve won the war but at what cost?
I would argue OW2 is faster paced than Apex Legends.
But along with fast pace, viewer friendly gameplay comes a lack of skill expression because as long as you are doing something you get value out of it.
I already dread the fast paced, spawn simulator gameplay because my 35-year old self can barely keep up with everything that is happening in the alpha footage, much less make a difference as support player. Heals might as well not exist and peels also won’t exist.
It’s just going to be yet another shooter where dps will just blast through the enemy team I suppose, with little more thought process than “shoot at this pinged target” and it will probably work too.

Oh I didn’t think about older players or disabled people.
To be fair we have only seen pro footage as of today, so I don’t know what gameplay will look like in silver where I am.
But it does sound like it will take a lot of energy even for me.

i think anything is faster pace than a battle royale
My reaction speed definitely aint what it used to be in my 20’s where I played smash bros melee competitively. But even without taking that into account, as non-dps player, I just dread what OW2 will bring.
You can still play Brig/Moira to counteract it, tbh.
Frankly, this is okay-ish compared to quake games or other arena shooters.
