Most evil thing a support has done

My curiousity has gotten the best of me so I’ll ask, what was the most evil thing a support on your side and the enemies sides do? (Support players welcomed to tell their tale as well)

Buddy and I, back in OW1 days, I remember on Numbani attack, going to enemy spawn, waiting for someone to leave spawn. I’d sleep them and my buddy would drop Dva bomb on them

Nowadays, if I play QP (Lucio), I’m likely to pick someone at random, or pick someone who kills me, focus them hard and beat on their body as many times as possible in a match.

Well The most evil and despicable thing ive done is healing.

According to many forum user, healing is the worst thing in OW.

Sym used to be a support with a teleporter ultimate. The teleporter could be placed in such a way to port teammates over the side of a cliff. I think there was even a loading screen tip at one point ordering players not to do this.

Any Support heal botting and then saying DPS diff (whether they win or lose) is pretty darn evil.

I once kept sleeping a Tracer who was trying to harass me as Ana.

The more I slept her, the more aggressive and sloppy she got with her approach.

After like the 6th or 7th time that she died due to my sleep, she asked in chat “What rank are you?”

When I responded with “Masters”, she just left the game without another word.

I like to think that I was merely protecting myself, but if I’m honest I cackled pretty hard about it.

Not just a normal cackle. It was definitely an evil cackle.

Was playing Lucio on defense on Havana. Junkrat, Soldier and I split off from the others and formed our own guerrilla warfare squad. We spent the entire match spawn camping, hiding in bushes and around corners, solo ulting, etc.

At one point I hid in the back of a truck and let the enemy Rein see me. He snuck up on me, thinking he was finally gonna get the drop on me, but it was just a ploy. As soon as he got close, Junk and Soldier popped out from the bushes behind him and annihilated him.:rofl::rofl: We won with a full hold.

and if you do dps, ppl complain about your healing…

man sometime this community amaze me.

Not evil, but petty. I remember getting mad at my team for going three supports, so mid-game I switched from tank to a 4th support and would only heal until two people switched. Sometimes, as Mercy, if someone annoyed me, I would only damage boost them.

Let em complain. As long as you’re making an earnest attempt at providing heals enough so there’s breathing room you’re good.

It’s on your healed targets to not sit in the open at all times because you can heal them.

There are next to zero acceptable excuses for this to always be the case in any match.

I still think it’s when Zen watches his entire party die, and then he pops his ultimate to save himself.

I’ve had several Mercy players on my own team in the last month or so who would t-bag my corpse when I died. I’m usually on Widow when it happens.

Non-issue when it’s the enemy team, I expect poor sportsmanship in general from this player base. But MY Mercy t-bagging me?

This another tik tok trend I don’t know about?

I don’t play Mercy, but sometimes I t-bag anyone on my team that continuously peaks and dies while trying to 1vs5.

Getting mocked and t-bagged by a far worse player. I don’t have the best aim but when someone that struggles to even land body shots do this, it irritates me.

Sure, if I was feeding my brains out. But that’s not what’s happening. Sometimes I lose a Widow duel, or getting surprise-flattened by Winton. And my Mercy actually flew to my corpse and started t-bagging.

Not a common occurance, but enough for me to notice a trend going on.

Picking Lifeweaver. Also picking Mercy without a dedicated pocket.

That being said, don’t attack me because I’m not bothered with what people play. Sometimes you get a coherent team comp sometimes you don’t. You win some you lose some.

I’m not suggesting that’s what happened to you. I’m just giving my reason for t-bagging a teammate.

I see. Thank you for clarifying :slightly_smiling_face:

For the briefest of times, yes. Then they actually patched it because everyone mocked them savagely for trusting the player base to not abuse it.
