With OLED screens becoming more and more popular in gaming, especially the new 27" 240Hz panels that look to be exceptional for competitive gaming, it would be really cool to get more HUD customization options to prevent their biggest issue which is burn-in risk.
The thing I’ve got in mind is mostly allowing to set a custom transparency on all individual HUD elements.
While now it’s somehow possible to set up a crosshair that we could run with no fear on such a screen, all the other UI elements seem like a great risk of ruining our OLED panels.
Set of simple transparency sliders for each of the element shouldn’t be that hard to implement and would greatly improve OLED users experience of playing the game.
Even one global transparency slider for the whole HUD would be huge improvement.
