Well with this new influx of players we need more avoid slots, 3 is not enough when you get into ranks that have smaller populations.
Please give us more avoid slots, utter madness only being able to avoid 3 people when a significant portion of Overwatch aren’t bothered about trying to win. Same Kiriko ‘main’ 3 games in a row… already avoiding Bastion 1 trick, Torb 1 trick and a throwing tank.
Shouldn’t have to queue up seeing same faces throwing the same games.
Just curious… are you told by the system you a player is avoiding you? Are you assuming? or did the player state they were going to put you on their list?
Honest question… just wondering if their is an indicator.
If people want to subject us to ‘their’ way of playing… I don’t want to play with them. It is not abuse, it is called playing Overwatch how it is supposed to be played.
You know what screws up matchmaking even more than that? People who force playing characters they can’t play well and subject the entire team to a loss while they play it. I just lost a game becase our Kiri was a Mercy main who fancied playing Kiri and being a bot.
I want more avoids, the devs designed Brigg… these same devs are charging $40 for skins they made in 2019… are you really sure they know what is good?
Nah its Because blizzard doesnt want people to get hurt feelings like they did when it was first introduced and certain players would get mass avoided…
Becuse removing the “you may experience longer matchmaking queues because a lot of people have avoided you” message wouldn’t solve this problem…
See if the matchmaking system wasnt biased, it wouldnt be disrupted by it… not to mention the numerous things that also disruption it.
I mean they are allowing partys to fight pugs in quick play again…aka team stacking.
And its not like it can be abused anyway… any time i leave a bad match i always avoid someone on that team to gurantee i wont be placed in that match again
We’ve needed more avoid slots for years. Even moreso now as, like you said, there’s a huge influx of new players which means potentially a lot more trolls/throwers/smurfs than before.
Just like we need backfill in Competitive now more than ever. It goes to show how clueless Blizzard are as to how players actually play their game when they think 3 avoid slots is enough or that they haven’t added backfill to Competitive.
That game has so many players that unless you are the tippy top of the ranks, you will most likely never see that same player in your game ever again. And if you do, your 3 slots are plenty to make that a zero chance.
