Monthly reminder that Symmetra is still too big and her tp blows itself up

Gigantic hitbox? :white_check_mark:
Bigger than Mei? :white_check_mark:
Absurd head hitbox? :white_check_mark:

Please address. Her hitbox does not match her HP pool and kit. It’s clearly a remnant of her lock-on days to make her easier to hit.

And while we’re at it, refund the teleporter cooldown when it immediately selfdestructs due to a map glitch. You can’t fix this bug, so refund the cooldown.

They also haven’t fixed TP getting booped. It’s rare and seems exclusive to Rein and Hammond (so momentum based boops), with its rarity probably being the reason it still exists. It’s there though. If it is booped into a wall, it usually destroys itself.

Id be thrilled JUST for hitbox trim. To me the TP bug wont be as bad as dying easily

I’ve never really noticed, until seeing the video thumbnail, that Sym has painted fingernails.

The hitbox guy/girl at Blizzard on the OW team is F-tier. That person needs help with their job.

How on EARTH can they know that Sym’s hitbox is still absolute bullshi* and have not done anything about it?

Genuinely disgraceful–relatively, ofc, considering we’re talking about a videogame.

Everytime I approeach a symmetra as hanzo I laugh. Hello headshot!

I always noticed that I got headshot so much easier as Sym vs when I’m on Hanzo, Ashe etc. When I first saw this video my jaw dropped. She’s a bobblehead with massive legs!

They need to fix that gigantic head hitbox and her leg hitbox. It was balanced when she had auto lock but if its not coming back its time to trim down that hitbox

Sym herself is not big, she just needs a new stance. The current one is like shes preparing for sumo wrestling.

The self destruction glitch happens with Sombra’s translocator as well. It will randomly break during a match despite no one shooting at it. It reminds me of when it had a timer of 15 seconds

Her hitbox is on parr with other DPS heroes.

It’s just not though. She’s bigger than mei. Has a massive head hitbox. And unlike a lot of the other heroes with similar hitboxes, she has NO defensive options, low mobility and 200HP AND an effective range of like 12m (lower than zarya).

The other day I played Symmetra and kept trying to get a jump on hanzo by Tping up to him on point C hollywood. By the time I charged one orb he headshot me even though this was supposed to be my advantage range >:(

its equal to her amount of dmg output. The tp blows up due to map error, just like torb turret being destroyed. That would mean, if we got that refund, the tele, turret, trap, mines, sym turret, and orisa ult should all be refunded when a map bug occurs. It doesn’t have that error that often. Good players would recognize these bad tele spots, and not use them. Along with knowing, that if it moves too far away it gets destroyed.
