So there are a good chunk of us that have been with Overwatch from the get go, bought it, played it, been with it through thick and thin. Now since Overwatch 2 came out it is free to play. Do we get any type of compensation since we have literally paid for nothing now? straight up just gave them money for 0 reason and I am personally annoyed. I feel I got scammed.
So you bought a game, played it for 5 years, and when the dev released it F2P you ask for a refund.
You didn’t pay for nothing, you paid for the right to play it while it wasn’t free

2 epic skins, player icon and kiriko unlock. That is about it.
You’ve been playing OW since the beginning, you got your money’s worth they don’t owe you compensation.
But they did release the founders pack with 2 skins, 1 player icon and Kiriko for free.

Someone pointed out that three skins in Overwatch 2 cost the entire price of Overwatch 1, so, as far as ActBliz is concerned, the free skins in the battle pass and the Reaper skin they just gave out free cover the cost of the first game.

True I didnt pay for nothing, I had an overall good time with OW1. I just dont see the justification in downgrading the game and then letting everyone play when we all had to pay to get to this point. Again, i feel scammed out of money, I dont even want to play OW2 because of gash queue times, all these random changes that didnt need to be made. Lets also not forget its not even the game we were promised, we got no mans skied but without the bugs (even then we still had bastion and Torbjorn issues when all they did was copy and paste the code. There is literally less content from where it started).
That’s Blizzard sinking its last ship again. It’s just a new way they found to bring money to the table by making it free but any little thing requires coins, like Destiny 2 did, except they add content compared to Blizz
