Moira's pickrate is not because she out classes other supports

Moira currently has a 13% ish pickrate… But it’s really not because Moira is too good.

The reason Moira is so good is 3 reasons.

  1. Moira is the only support who has a reasonable chance against doom
  2. Sheilds stop Ana and bap
  3. Mercy doesn’t have enough healing to be a main healer, she needs a main support with her.

A that’s basically it. If you want to see less Moira then you need to make other supports more viable, by 1. Nerfing dual sheilds, 2. Nerfing or buffing doomfist/his counters

Or completely destroying moira for an easier fix.

Yee, the supports are pretty well balanced at this point. Meta makes the difference as to who gets played

I mean yes that is one way to make Moira worse, but then you’d need to play a mercy brig comp? Which is almost enough healing

I do not think it would result in mercy brig cause currently brig isnt getting much playtime anyways. I feel mercy lucio is more likely.

Both Ana and Mercy had higher pick-rates when they were meta, so not sure why Moira is worse… :man_shrugging:
