People talk about how some heroes have overloaded kit, but how about an overloaded ability? Biograsp alone has more goodies jammed into it than what some heroes get for their entire kit.
I think the best way to balance this ability is to tighten up that hitbox because it’s the foundation of Moira being a braindead easy hero, not saying orb and fade don’t contribute to that, they certainly do, but biograsps is the pillar.
Alternatively, we can reduce her self-healing either by a) reduce it by half or b) make it so taking damage will interrupt it (like Mercy). This also has the added effect of forcing Moira to be smart about using Orb for offense or defense (using brain as Moira, imagine that)
Or both. Bad aimers should be punished for their lack of aim instead of having crutches. There are no crutches for having not having game sense, not baiting out stun before you ult, not tracking ult, not a host of other skills needed to be good. Why should bad aimers get a pass?
You do realize that Moira is designed to counter hyper mobile 200 or less HP targets… right? That’s why its hitbox is as big as it is. This isn’t a case of “bad aimers”. Almost no one can consistently hit Genji and Tracer with precision hitscan weapons because that’s what mobility counters.
Edit: Just noticed the OP’s name is Shimada. So… looks like we’ve got a salty Genji main complaining about one of his counters. Nothing to see here.
