Moira with Utility | Rework proposal

Biotic Grasp

  • Healing received scales depending on the distance between Moira and the ally being healed. Within the first 5 meters, Moira deals 70 HP/s. Anything further than 5 meters deals less healing, with 40 HP/s being the absolute minimum at 15 meters.
  • Healing is no longer decreased when it has to pierce through one ally to get to the other
  • Damage beam range reduced to 15 meters
  • Resource gain increased by 30%

Biotic Orb

  • Moira now holds 2 separate orbs, one for healing and one for damaging, meaning Moira is able to use both orbs at the same time and each has its own cooldown.
  • Orbs now travel at 8 meters per second and no longer bounce. Instead, they latch to the first target available within a 2 meter radius and follow them around until they are depleted. They still have to be aimed, though. Orbs that collide with the environment are destroyed.
  • Damaging orb now deals only 100 damage in total, 20 damage per second, and reduces target’s damage dealt by 20%
  • Healing orb now deals only 200 healing, 40 healing per second, and reduces target’s damage taken by 20%

Coalescence

  • Targets affected by Coalescence now inflict the same effects as the orbs do.
    • Allies affected by Coalescence take 20% less damage
    • Enemies affected by Coalescence deal 20% less damage
  • Damage per second decreased to 50
  • Healing per second increased to 150
  • Maximum range decreased to 25 meters
  • Ultimate cost increased by 10%

So… Damage orb becomes weaker and even more free ult charge for enemy supports than it already is, she gets her healing slapped across the face, and so does her damage on her ult. In exchange for weak passive effects that are just weaker mimics of Fortify and Discord Orb. No thank you

Not sure that 20 percent gonna be enough utility wise

None of the abilities I proposed are the same or even remotely similar to Discord Orb.

Her healing is overall buffed, because as an AoE healer right now, healing is decreased for the ally who receives the healing through another ally. Also, the numbers are increased by… a lot? Not just the raw healing, but the resource gain, too.

Where’s the utility? This is all still just about damage and healing.

Okay, so I misread the damage reduced on enemies

But my question is now, how does this work for individual pellets? They’d either be unaffected or terrible. It doesn’t work

I think that just makes everything less fun for everyone. Moira gets watered down, and her enemies would be too.
