Here is a clip of a top 50 DPS player who dies to an orb that did almost 90-100 damage to him, he had no space to run because of how the orb kept bouncing and coming back denying him an entire hallway:

Keep in mind, there is nothing kragiee could have done even if he walked back because the orb randomly went away AND came back, if he walked forward he would be walking into the orb because of the insane autlocking range.

Just for the record junkrat’s entire kit is basically depending on spam, the only time he requires any skill is when hes in a 1v1 without his concussion mines. However moira is rewarded for using an ability. Junk is a nightmare to play against on spam maps especially anubis even if you’re running double shield.

  1. He should have just moved away? (LOL typical coming of moiras) JUST LOOK AT THE AUTOLOCK RANGE OF THE ORB

  2. My orb was actually calculated? No, I didn’t count the 20 bounces after i actually missed my orb. It RANDOMLY killed someone I had NO CLUE about. I was just randomly spamming it every 10 seconds where i saw the enemy.

  3. This is rare and only happens once? NO. I can go into any of my moira games and I RANDOMLY kill someone with my orb ATLEAST 3-4 times a round!

  4. I can’t reduce my level of thinking enough to see what you have to say down in the replies

Also refrain from typing ignorant and delusional comments like ‘moira is only good now’ because there are videos on YOUTUBE FROM MORE THAN ONE YEAR AGO calling out how MOIRA is BROKEN SINCE HER RELEASE.

I barely play moira and I am already at a 70% WINRATE. This hero is too easy to play, gets too much value and I have no idea why this is in the game.

Is this in the game because most of this forums has bronze-gold support players who cried about dps killing them?
And now they are happy because dps of their same skill level can’t kill them because they are playing this amazingly skilled hero called moira?
The dps at your level have the same level of gamesense you have so if you die to them and come to the forums and cry it’s also your fault if you die to them. Supports were fine before moira! Game got ruined since moira’s and brig’s RELEASE.

Lucio probably shouldn’t have beated at low health

That zarya was at 50-ish charge, giving her about 130 dps

Lucio was at 40 health, and given that zarya has atleast 50% accuracy that means he would’ve died in about half a second

Considering that beat has a .7 second cast time… Well he would’ve died either way, with or without the orb

Along with that, well its just bad luck.

Just because something died to orb randomly does not mean its game breaking.

Have you ever seen a video of a random headshot on a invis sombra? does that make that heros weapon game breaking becuase it randomly killed sombra?

Dude litterally no one to very few people actually believe that Moira is a difficult hero

We just think that shes harder than people give her credit for

That beat was really good, it wouldve saved his team. He should have beated and he did.

No, He would not have died without the orb.

Yeah, I can go back to the replay and find 5 more moira orbs in a SINGLE ROUND thrown by me that killed someone i didnt intend to kill at all. So it’s not bad luck, it’s moira orb that bounces off too many walls and randomly locks onto to enemies you have no idea it is locking onto, giving you kills/too much value.

Also, I am 100% sure I would have 20% winrate in an ANA meta on ana. Moira can be played by ANYONE.

He would’ve died, 130 dps on him while he was at fourty health would’ve killed him in about 1/3 of a second, that beat was actually in a really bad position, as he was stuck against a wall an within zaryas range, along with that the beat would’ve only hit him and Moira, no one else on his team

Then why do people struggle with Moira
There are a ton of top 500/gm players who are unable to get that same rank (or higher) with Moira. A good example of this is actually Samito, who was unable to get past low masters with Moira

Because they probably don’t want to spend the next 80+ hours playing moira. I’m sure you will find plat-diamond players in highmasters/gm/top500 who have one tricked moira enough. You could probably find bronze-gold moira players in diamond to low masters as well!

As for proving to you i cant be bothered to record my game and upload it to some one who has 3000 posts defending moira. You spend more time on forums than playing the game, nothing can change your frozen mindset.

Also there is enough proof on youtube of people randomly dying to this horrible orb ability all the way through bronze to top 500.

The orb is really unfortunate, but he definitely didn’t have good positioning. He was singled out in the open right in front of the enemy team. They were focusing him down anyways. Not to mention, his teammates on the high ground were possibly out of range anyways, and if he were closer to his own Moira she would have been able to heal him better.

I agree that Moira’s orbs are really dumb, and this is the stuff people mean when they say RNG (even though yes I know it’s not technically RNG, just pure luck) but let’s not pretend that Lucio played perfectly here. That was just a panic ult used after getting caught out in a bad position.

God I hate this argument.

Just because the skills specific to Moira are next to non-existant doesn’t mean that there isn’t other skills that are important to climbing like game sense and communication.

It’s one of the dumbest strawmen I’ve ever heard.

He would have gotten his ult off, I watched his POV.

His health was going down fairly slowly but then moira orb comes along and kills him in under a second because having 50dps on an autolocking bouncing orb in the game is apparently considered ‘good’ hero design.

He would have ulted on top of the boxes, it was a good ult util my orb touched him

We all have bad luck sometimes, thats not a reason to remove an ability, The moira hate has to stop,

Moira ball is literally NOT RNG based. To quote another character, “It’s simple geometry.”

Simple fix

Nerf her damage.

It kills 2 birds with one stone.

  1. No healer should be doing 100DPS which is higher than some DPS characters

  2. Forces Moira mains to stop playing DPS.

I love when people call moira orb not RNG, when no one ever calculates the 20+ bounces in advance. Stop making this horrible argument. 100% of moiras just spam it towards the enemy.

Especially considering that other people on the team could’ve shot him… no, it wouldn’t have gotten off

That jump isn’t technically do-able during lucio ultimate

During his ult he cannot jump or wall ride, meaning that unless he was already on the way up to the boxes it wouldn’t have hit

Along with that (Like I said) Lucio’s ult has a SET cast timer, that being .7 seconds, giving zarya (and the rest of her team) enough time to kill him

I thought you just said that anyone can play and succeed with Moira? So why do tey need 80+ hours playing her?

(For reference, I climed from gold (2000 sr) to masters (3500 sr) from season 5- to season 7, it took a total of only 50 hours)

Okay well then it’s your word vs mine, and no, I don’t think that those orbs actually randomly killed people like you said, and if they did, oh well? Sometimes people just randomly die, this is overwatch, it happens all the time with things like junkrat spam, fire strike ETC.

Dude I went from thinking that Ana was the hardest hero in the game and symmetra was braindead and needed nerfs to my current mindset (every hero is just hard in their own way)

I’ve changed my opinion multiple times, I used to think that Doomfist was super op, now I just think he needs a rework, I used to hate Rein, now I don’t as much. I used to think that Moira was 100% fine, and I still partially agree with that, but I’m not opposed to mini reworks to her (maybe a smaller beam for more damage, maybe less orbs but more potential to improve with orbs)

there is also plenty of videos of Reinhardt accidentally charging people randomly, guess his charge needs a rework

Moira’s orb is not RNG. That would mean the first bounce will always be random.

Your gifs are just scenarios where it was just bad luck.

Its not realistically predictable, but IT CAN be calculated (not in game or in real time or anything, but technically you could predict it)

No Moira players are actually trying to predict every single bounce, maybe just the first or second bounce

Yeah, like 4 of them in the past 3 years. I have seen 10 per hour of people dying to 0 skill orb.

Also I would recommend ignoring this OwU kid, hes a bait.
Probably like that other one literally named moira. You don’t want to argue with these people, considering they managed to reduce themselves enough to think moira is balanced.
