I play Moira, but seriously, I hate fighting Moira with most heroes. She’s far too strong 1v1 and is able to escape danger better than Sombra. If she starts attacking you, and you make her fade, she just comes back full health and keeps attacking. A good Moira knows how to exploit this and will kill 90% of her encounters even if they are counter picks specific to Moira. If you examine her on Overbuff dot com she has the second highest KDA (6.01) in the game over the last 3 months with DVA (6.80) coming in first. So, a “support” is destroying every DPS character in the game. I think she needs a longer fade cooldown, and I think her DPS should be lowered below 50 and below 100 with orb.

Its easy to have insane KDA with moira. Just throw a purple orb and it will count as kill even if it does 200 damage max, among several targets.
She has low DPS (65 or 120 with orb engaged).
Her range is rather short so she’s constantly in danger to be effective.

Careful you just came into the den of Moira mains swinging at their hero. They are going to start fading here any minute to throw insults.
In reality, Moira isn’t really overpowered outside of the metal ranks. And this forum usually acts like she needs buff cause she is secretly hard to play and heroes that’s skill level is so high compared to heroes like Tracer, Genji, or Hazard and needs to dominate GM like she does Bronze.
The issue with her that will always be… the other player needs to land their shots, use their team, or use their cooldown to get past her sucking on them. Meanwhile she requires none of these thoughts herself, she is by far the most hand holding hero in the game.
At last, I’d just leave her be for now. Some people that really love Overwatch need a hero like her to perform okay/have some fun due to health issues or just general skill issues. She’s fine, though should never show herself in the top ranks.

Contributing even 1 damage to killing someone counts as an elimination. So heroes that do a lot of tickle damage like Moira and Dva get padded elim stats
If you think Moira does a lot of damage Zen must be the most op hero in existence deleting dps heroes for fun

Moira isn’t good anymore after hp bloat patch. When many targets were at 200hp maximum, Moira’s playstyle had been better. Also, I concur, Moira’s KDA is all thanks to her orb flying around doing 15 damage.

Ok… I hear y’all. I got mad she destroyed me while playing Widow, so I just queued as Moira and can steamroll QP all day long so I feel better now.
I think it would be fun if they removed her self heal and allowed her to crit. That joke patch where should could headshot was actually the most fun I had on the hero.

Um Moira is pretty weak truthfully and is very rarely played in higher elo aside from a few die hard fans like Arx. If you feel she is strong just swap to dva and eat her orbs shes one of those support that is only deadly when a team isnt pinging her and keeping tabs on her in any fashion. Now if we are talking about her ult ya its strong probably one of my favorite ults to combo with like hazard. You just wont find many in this forum who will agree with you though as any player that know how to properly position can play any support in a higher elo. Always try to force her fade asap with some burst dmg that way she has no get out of jail free card.
Now IF they ever implemented the counterwatch upgrade cards then moira was for sure too strong there but not normal mode

KDA doesn’t exist in this game, it’s eliminations and you get the count for an elim for just pinging an enemy sometime before they die. Moira pads her stats by throwing damage orbs and constantly getting elims she doesn’t even know about for just doing 5 damage here and there while your DPS or tank actually gets the kill.
Maybe Moria does need a little bit of something idk, bc she does abuse noobs too easily, but shes definitely not too strong. I say it all the time, play Kiriko, git gud and Morias will be become a non issue. Youll be glad every time a dumb Moria decides to fade into you thinking she just found another harmless bronzy. Theyll stop bothering you once you put them down a couple of times.
Look at the patches, they buffed Moira like three times to compensate…
Yet she still is useless past Plat. She can have number tweaks all day long, but without utility she’s bad.
She’s currently being played in high elo and OWCS with high success rates alongside Brig + Zen. She’s clearly no longer just a metal rank crutch, despite her not providing utility
we all had that MOIRA OP phase, its a little embarrassing looking back on it now

She is still good at not dying easily.
They buffed Coalescence a bunch of times. Otherwise they’ve just increased her damage to 65 and reduced her health to 225.
So, relative to the standard base health (250), she has a worse TTK than a year ago and she is easier to kill than she was a year ago when she was also considered to be bad.
Unless you very specifically think the changes to Coalescence make up for that (lol) I don’t see what point you could possibly be trying to make.
