Moira is designed terribly

Moira is designed in a way that makes people think they get value from doing damage more damage than healing. But the problem is that isn’t true, they just think it is because she designed in a way that for some reason makes people think doing damage is what you do when you play Moira (who is in the support category by the way). So many people do it I have to believe its the heroes fault rather than the players because if there was that many brainless imbeciles walking around I don’t think the world could function.

There will always be people who play wrong. That’s not the character’s fault.
It’s inevitable.

However, DPS’ing as Moira is a core part of her kit. Sometimes you have to DPS as her to get the maximum value out of her.

I mean. The same can be said for any trash-damage dps.

Junkrat may have gold damage, but what does that matter if 95% of that damage was healed by the enemy team?

moira is designed horribly bcz she doesnt reward skill, in exchange she got a base power that can be accessed by anyone.
this is why you will never see her be viable without being top tier 100% pickrate.

Moira is actually fine for killing squishies and that is the problem.

:sunglasses::sunglasses::sunglasses::sunglasses: maybe in gold. In diamond etc people will know how to aim and will punish DPS Moira. You can counter her just like you can counter reaper… get a stun

I agree and disagree with this. As she could’ve been better designed to have more Utility in place of her damage half.

But, at the same time I also really enjoy current Moira and she’s one of my go to support characters. If people are DPS-ing more then they’re healing then they’re playing her wrong, plain as. The design may not help fight against this, but it’s also not completely the designs fault either.

there is a reason why DPS Moira players are hard stuck in silver :drooling_face::drooling_face::drooling_face::drooling_face: keep them where they belong lol. I hope they never make it out until they learn the left click

Dps moira in the front line is dead meat.
Moira’s ult is charged very fast if you heal.
Moira is very good against 200hp heroes and flankers.
She has no utility, which means your teammates will keep dying even if you godly-heal them.

Lul… You actually think the average person is competent? I am not even trying to be condescending, but once you get older, you will figure out it is genuinely the latter.

Moiras a well designed hero imo. Its not the fault of the kit if people struggle to balance healing and damage output

Just because a hero is played wrong doesn’t mean they were badly designed.

Moira fulfilled everything that was needed for the support role:
Ability to escape a Grav
Ability to shoot through Deflect and Defense Matrix
Ability to main heal more than one target
Talon healer

Sure she suffers from lack of utility but at the time of release she was exactly what was needed for the game.

Actually her heal is on the very first button you ever press in a fps game, lmb, that is the first thing they witness.

Or charging up a Zarya.
It happens all the time.

just because you fail to understand my statement and dont have the ability to see further your gold medals and feelings, you kill any potential respect anyone would have for your opinions.

but i happen to be a growup so here:

moira doesnt reward skill, here’s proof: you get alot more value from ana then moira when you have skill.

She does 80 heals to 50 dmg…this isn’t true. People just like dmg

…it’s actively burning. No , the world isn’t functioning dude…

The hero is actually brilliantly designed in that you constantly have to be evaluating when to heal or dps. It’s that push/pull game play that makes her so much fun, and when balance correctly between the two, makes her so rewarding.

Not really. People tend to focus too much on doing damage on moira because they want to do damage more than they want to heal.

Also, about that last sentence. You really don’t know much about the real world right?
