Moira is a dumb hero

everyone in diamond and above doesn’t even strafe when 1v1 against a Moira bc shes just going to dmg you regardless. Both biotic grasp and dmg orb have the hitbox of a small prius. Then when you get her low she uses her get out jail free button and fades from existence.

Dumb hero, dumb design, unenjoyable gameplay

Yeah that’s sorta when you should punish her. She doesn’t disappear from the map.

If you’re in diamond. Shoot her head.

I agree, its pretty dumb, hopefully whatever rework they have now that the one they had for her at beta 2 failed, miserably, i have to add, actually inserts some much needed skill on her kit.

She was designed to counter the flankers.

I’m not even sure there is engaging gameplay which would successfully counter them. It is why mobility on small hitbox heroes is a bad idea. Because it means you have to have stuff like this in the game.

I mean, Brig literally existed through OW1…

Only a small prius, huh?

Sure, and was in either an OP state, or a didn’t counter Tracer state.
Not exactly a shining example.

She was plenty engaging, the devs just never properly balanced her. Never once did her core problem (Inspire) receive the attention it needed.

And nearly every major T-500 player would say it on stream anytime she appeared.

The Inspire+Repair Pack interaction was the core of her problem, paired with CDs with way too much uptime.

Again though, the last year and a bit of OW1, Tracer was the most picked DPS in GM by a long way.

Brig wasn’t countering her.

Thats why i play hanzo vs moira. Can’t fade out from a one shot kill.

I can see a rework where they get rid of inspire and beef up her tankyness. More armor, more shield HP, more dmg, etc.

Exactly, Hanzo is also great vs Sombra for exactly the same reason. I don’t play Sombra into Hanzo players who can aim.

There is no translocating out of that.

Making her a tank?

Inspire is literally her support core, you cant take that away without changing her role pretty much.

Tbf that’s GM
I feel like for the majority of the people she could’ve worked fine against other fellow lower-mid ranked flankers if she actually got given a chance :skull::skull::skull:

She wasn’t great in the lower / mid ranks. She wasn’t played there because while you could keep Tracer busy for some time, it didn’t actually stop her once Brigs combo was nerfed out.

There was no Tracer problem on average ranks either.

Still isnt, even when her damage got dumbly reverted to OW1 lvls, Tracers were still feeding their brains out on mid-ranks.

Oh hi.
Say, are you another account of Omni69 and all those other Omni accounts?

Yeah maybe give her some other heal ability? I think inspire has pretty much been the main reason she caused a lot of issues in the game. Not inspire itself but how easy and long it can stay active combined with her repair pack. If played right she has constant uptime which is why I think she’s seen lots of play in OWL despite her countless nerfs.

That is also true.

And she isn’t exactly good vs the other flankers.
