What was everyones thought on Moira’s fade being able to cleanse Ana nade a couple of years ago? I didn’t really play the experimental and I don’t know the exact ins and outs of it but I think as long as it cleanses stuff like Biotic Grenade, Discord Orb, Freeze, maybe Junkrat trap and maybe hack, it’d be a great way to give Moira some actual utility. Not sure how I feel about it being able to cleanse stuns but debuffs and roots I feel would be great.
No more moira buffs, for the love of god - just nerf mercy’s problematic kit and moira will be less gatekept
I’d rather not have the functionality on Fade, personally. I’m much happier with the Fade jump buff than I would be with the Fade cleanse.
If it has to be on Fade for some reason: out of the experiments with Fade cleanse/dmg immunity, I much preferred the one that had cleanse and only cleanse. Otherwise I felt like a living IF drone, using Fade constantly to mitigate damage for others and not for survivability/mobility.

Personally I liked the concept, the did it pretty badly with her ability only being active after fade is finished but overall I think it was good.
I don’t look at Moira as a cleanse support considering the focus of the ability was more about survive ability but I do think it should be part of her kit.
Other than that I liked the experimental a lot.
8 seconds fade that would instantly give anyone around her fade for 1 second is a very cool and balanced concept that would not only allow Moira to have utility but also add new unique utility to the game that would help a lot against stuff like dive.
I would love it a lot.
As for the stun cleanse, you already don’t receive damage so no real reason to get you stuck in place. And negative effects cleanse on 8 seconds for a hero that synergies a lot with defensive compositions don’t sounds too bad.
It’s not like there are too many negative effects anyways, especially ones that last longer than 1 second anyways.
I think Moira as a concept should provide what she herself is all about just like Lucio is about speed and Brig is about her armor. So evasion sounds really good

Moira is gatekept by Mercy (who has no mechanics and a better kit than her), a hero who has some form of skill expression will naturally be more powerful than a hero with no mechanics and that’s fine in the eye of the devs and hopefully they adress Mercy’s problematic kit for OW2
Nope, the problematic matter is the fact that Moira provides absolutely no utility whatsoever, therefore she cannot compete for a spot unless her HPS is so overtuned that nobody dies. Mercy is completely fine.
