Moira damage orb should dissipate more quickly

Moira no heals + dmg orb= dead team.

Throwing out a damage orb literally halves your healing and makes you unable to burst heal potentially getting yourself or others killed. “High damage”, Yeah, alright. If you’ve got a brain and understand what straight lines are you’re going to take 25 damage from it at MOST.

even if you don’t avoid it at all and are just near 2 other teammates it’s going to do AT MOST 66 or so damage to each.

Can’t say I agree with that comparison being fair in any way.

  • Moira’s orb’s 200 damage can be divided amogst the players that are within its aoe.
  • Widow’s mine can deal the 200 damage to each of the players that are within the aoe.

Not to mention you will rarely ever get hit for the full damage of Moira’s orb alone unless you’re stuck in a room with no escapes or unless you follow its trajectory while away from your team, whereas with the mine once it hits you it delivers the rest of the damage.

Also, don’t forget widow’s mine also lets you see the poisoned enemy through walls and the orb is just for damage.


Anything that kills attacks Moira is a leap in the right direction.
