I tried swapping the R2 and L2 to match the hands for Moira’s orbs but no matter what I do the prompts on screen remain. I’ve thrown out so many dmg orbs when I mean to heal and vis versa please fix this.
Just change primary and secondary fire and it’s done
I did that but the prompts on screen still say that heal is on the right side and dmg on the left. I wish they either weren’t there or the words would switch over to the proper hands.

Once you make the switch, just use the side of the controller that corresponds with the color orb in her hand…once you get it into muscle memory it becomes second nature

That’s what i’m hoping for it just trips me up seeing the words there saying the opposite but I guess like you said when I start doing it like that I can start ignoring the words.
You can’t change that sadly. Just try to build it into muscle memory.

Yeah, the setting is weird because the buttons for the orbs appear in the opposite position from where they are on the controllers. You just need to remember that they correspond to the button bound to primary (for heal) and secondary (for damage) fire.

Man I did this on Moira when she first released. I don’t even read the text prompts. I don’t think I do for any character tbh. I just remembered what buttons do what.
Moira uses the Purple beam/orb with her right hand, so I use the right trigger/bumper for the Damage abilities. And vice-versa with the healing abilities. Kind of like Hand-eye coordination but in the game

Thank you all for the replies! Hopefully it doesn’t take me too long to get into muscle memory. Post was made out of frustration with the text prompts messing me up even after changing the buttons.
