She is literally the most balanced concept in the entire game. She heals, she deals damage, that’s it. She heals a lot, but in small range; she can damage from afar, but for little. You’ve nerfed her “high healing” part already, fine. Now people complain about DPS Moiras - well, cut her M2 range by half. But you want to make further changes?
Remember the last time a “nobody-complained-about” support received changes? Or rather a whole rework? This one won’t be any different. You try to change something that’s already balanced. Don’t. This won’t end well. Focus on heroes that actually need changes. Moira is not one of them.

Moira is not overpowered or underpowered imo, but she also isn’t balanced.
She is very easy to get value out of and I say that with Moira being my second most played character. I enjoy playing her, but would welcome a change that makes her require more skill in exchange for being able to do more.
Beam size - you can hit a target without the crosshair even touching their character model.
In fact, you can aim 2 crosshair distances away from the target, and still hit them.
They should adjust it so at least the edges of her crosshair have to make contact with the enemy for the suck to work.
Moira is not balanced. Dont get me wrong, I love her how she is. But honestly, you can legit be brainded and still have huge impact on a game. Frankly, it baffles me how people dont see her as a must pick. Not having a Moira is a severe detriment to your team.
If they cut her M2 range it won’t just affect her damage, but her healing aswell. She wont be able to recharge a smuch. That would destroy the character.
Broken input to output ratio.
If her output would correlate to her input, she would be F tier and community would cry, so in order to fix her she needs something
Are you just trolling or what? It isn’t a lock on. It’s an animation that you are seeing.
Now it is a generous hit box which is likely to be reduced.
But she also does less average damage per game than the lowest picked dps.
Heck when Moira was the top support picks during double barrier, she had 17x the pick rate of the low west picked dps and still did less average damage. She did less average damage compared to any dps.
When Moira and Lucio have similar pick rates, they have similar average damage done per game.
Her beam, which you complain about, does the lowest damage per second in the game and skews her over 2 times the average ttk.
In fact, when you average out player skill, it takes a typical less than average dps player using only their primary fire, no crits, to have a 50% chance against Moira using her beam.
If anything, they wi decrease the hit box size in order to slightly raise her skill floor but her ceiling will remain the same.
Or maybe it will make her the hero she was designed to be. Huge healing numbers on a resource meter that she has to spend wisely and recharge if nescessary. Because as of now she needs neither.
She would still be a high value target and have to get way too close to the enemy to get any value. You’d almost be making her as killable as Zen. Meaning you wouldn’t get very much use out of what little resouce you managed to recharge before Rein turns your skill into a pancake.
