I like the new coalescence minor perk but even I must say that that perk belongs to the major perk category.
Nerfing her Ethical Nourishment from 50 to 30 instant healing is bad idea considering the DPS reduced healing passive. Moira’s survivability has already been shadow nerfed drastically because of the DPS Passive, this just makes it worse.
Reversal is such a useless major perk, something like this should be BASE KIT. There is NOTHING game changing about this. You should’ve kept the Contamination perk and make it so that the reduced healing passive has a lingering effect just like the DPS have.
The combined fade perks are REALLY good though, so I feel like the coalescence minor perk and the fade one are the best changes so far.
their whole goal was trying to create choices and wanting to use the different perks
that perk, no one will use so basically they didnt do what they wanted to do. i am sure if they have a statistic they’ll realize no one will pick that over extended fade and jump.
there is a slight chance i’ll be proven wrong lol. (the general population picking it over the other one)
Why are they nerfing her, she wasn’t great to begin with and the only good thing about her healing orb was the 50 burst healing in most games the anti healing was the best pick.
Imo, every single support should have a minor perk option that lets them entirely negate the dps passive.
Maybe “sustain is too strong” in high ranks but that’s a them issue. No idea why the Devs thought this passive would benefit anyone other than the top 1%. That top 1% should be able to outplay anything that’s “broken” or “too strong” because if they can’t then they don’t deserve the top rank.
I want orbs to be more reliable and not just wonder off if I’m trying to heal a teammate. There is so many ways to give her new perks without making her game breaking.
I’d run the coalescence perk and the fade perk, i.m.o that is the best option
What I hate about these reworked perks is that mobility is no longer minor.
We’ll have to wait longer to get it. In QP that’s closer to the end of the match.
The healing orb perk is worse. It was not good previously. It’s even more useless now.
The new reversal perk is interesting. I hope it’s intuitive to use.
It has potential, especially in a 1v1 scenario or when healing a single target.
In case the orb interacts with 2 players, it usually depletes quickly anyway. No need to reverse it.
This niche use case makes its alternative a more appealing option.
You’ll basically have to choose between maximizing the orb juice or getting a much better mobility. Tough call.
Killing her isnt the problem its her substantially adding to the dmg output without any real mechanical input. Like a Bap or Illari or Lucio can put up those numbers but they actually have to aim. If they keep her dmg range than she needs falloff, she shouldnt be able to succ people from 20m away for full damage. Also they need to change the audio cues for the orb succing you and her actually right clicking, so many people mistake her succing down your backline for her balls.
