If you want to allow moira to fade while ulting then fine, but she should lose her ult if she fades. Current iteration is BS.

Would basically kill the whole reason for the change. They could just make it so the ultimate’s duration isn’t paused during fade.

I don’t think she needed the change, but it does technically come at the cost of reducing your ult duration since it remains active but isn’t firing while she fades
Also, fading into the enemy team means you’ll be in even more danger than before.
It basically allows more time to heal while she’s fading, but makes solo ults even more frustrating to deal with

That’s not true, she could fade out of grav, evade any tank ult (shatter/dva bomb/ etc.) or dps ults.
She should not imo use fade to further chase enemy supports behind cover.

It’s easy to imagine this scenario but there’s a lot that can happen when Moira decides to do this.

She can fade out of grav now.
Losing her ultimate to potentially avoid death isn’t a fair exchange. Especially when fade is very predictable.
If she’s chasing a support during her ultimate in the backline and decides to burn her escape tool to secure the kill that’s more than fair and you’re at fault for letting her get that far to begin with.

Coalescence is just a pretty particle effect as is. Being able to Fade while using it finally makes it a valuable and versatile too.
And no, the numbers aren’t bad. The fact that it’s a linear beam is what makes it bad, on top of the fact that, like the rest of Moira’s kit, doesn’t do anything apart from heal or damage. No slow, no cleanse, no CC, nothing.

Welcome to highnoon cancellation, A ramattra with Annihilation that wants to put down shield, A Zarya that gravs to save her life, an echo who ults to not die etc. This is a thing in the game and it should apply here too.

She can, I play Zarya, she can fade and escape.
Stats means absolutely something and coals is pretty good in aiding kills.
Guess you are not as good at Moira as at Ana, which is a real head scratcher lol
She definitely cannot. This changed when OW2 shipped, and I think there was a brief period of time when it was bugged, but I play a fair bit of Zarya in Total Mayhem and I use Grav to hold her in place all the time.

Moira is one of my mains and i feel like these buffs are unnecessary. particularly the buff to her healing
