Just thought that was weird. Feel like it’s counter-intuitive for someone who has to aim and land shots gets less combat sustain than two who don’t. I mean, they’re supports, and they don’t deal as much damage, but still, you can’t even heal 50 points of health off killing a person as Reaper if they’re not a tank.

Brigitte gets around 25HPS from hitting people. Moira has 30HPS from biotic grasp.
Reaper is a tank buster, he’s meant to fight tanks, and vs tanks he should get a lot more healing than 30HPS. He also gets massive healing when he ults.

Reaper is also a DPS and not a support and should still require either health packs or healing from actual supports. In contrast Moira’s dps comes at the cost of her healing and is her means of self sustain unlike Mercy, Zen, and Lucio who passively sustain themselves through some sort of regeneration. Brigitte primarily heals through her damage and thus needs to have more than that used for self sustain.
reaper does a crap ton of damage. If he had the same sustain as supports he would be stupidly OP

I fail to see the problem.
Landing a full shot (every pellet hits) doesn’t heal for jack compared to 1 second of the other two wacking and sucking someone.

Why do you think a hero that can 1-shot people with a perfect shotgun to the face doesn’t get the same sustain a support-hero that has a fraction of the dps but still has to be close to the fight to heal people.

Doesn’t matter that he’s a tank buster, it matters that your reward for landing full body shots is pretty trash compared to aim in general direction heroes.
But reaper is meant for close combat against bulky tanks whete you can basically point your gun at the tanks giant head or belly and decimate them in less time than it takes moira kill a 200 hp hero
So he should keep dreaming his absurdly high damage AND heal enough to not require supports?
How would Brigette be supposed to survive if she wouldn’t heal herself a little more than Lucio? She doesn’t have any decent mobility or immunity, and she won’t be getting heals from 2 other people, she is the healer.

I mean he should heal enough to actually come out ahead of a fight, especially if he ends it quickly due to good aim.
If he ends it quickly with good aim… he already came out ahead. He doesn’t need better sustain if he already won eh?
Reaper could use some help, but his sustain isn’t the issue. His engage is much more problematic.
