We need more moderator callouts for liars. For example, this moderator fact-checked OP and locked their thread:

Many chat or game banned players try to rewrite how they got banned and post threads rationalizing their toxic behavior. They usually leave out any mention of profanity, racism, sexism, etc. and pretend that all they wrote was “gg” to get banned. Makes me wonder how often they gaslight their real world peers.

I wish the chat logs blizzard gave were more accurate so posting logs became normal on here like it has been in other games.

To be fair you see this in game too. I don’t necessarily think it’s conscious.
For example, the whole “I just asked them to swap” sorta deal.

They always say they asked nicely, but I have only been asked nicely once out of hundreds of attempts. I just swapped even with my “no swap” policy because they genuinely asked nicely. I knew it was going to be the only time I ever had to it.

In the meantime, the actual words used were something like “swap to X you @##$% !@%$^ *&$%$ or de-install you worthless !#@%^$” when the mods check the logs. Personal memory can be pretty selective after the ban hammer drops.

You are absolutely correct. I report “GG EZ” all the time, and it always results in a “thank you” message for each report. Easy fix - keep your cool and be respectful. Your game will actually improve by taking the high road.

Agreed, this needs to occur more often.
It was always a huge deal when Jeff would deliver the smackdown himself. But I’ll settle for moderator input too.

No smackdown buddy i never denied being toxic i said typing GG EZ will get you banned and this community has turned into the biggest bunch of easily offended snowflakes i have ever seen in any video game after 30 years of gaming.

I disagree with the sentiment as well, but at least I’ve learned a level of maturity in my own 30 years of gaming.
…and let loose with it in games that are less strict with it.

Dunno about you buddy but if someone calls me a liar i will respond. I never denied being toxic like this OP implies i said there is a report system being abused and thousands of players are being banned for things like “GG EZ” and that is bordering a Stalinist dystopia type of game where any little banter can be considered toxic and get you banned.
I knew they would lock my thread anyway its what they do, and im not sure what you are talking about because i pay nothing for this game and i don’t buy the battle pass. Once they banned my main account they got no more money from me.
My money goes to other companies and im not surprised they are losing money and laying off employees they probably banned half of their best paying customers.
