I bought this a while back… but I think it was on sale or something because I feel like I payed slightly less than that. Regardless, I believe similar spec monitors are a pretty good balance between performance and cost.
edit: I paid 230 bucks for it. Camelcamelcamel shows it’s lowest price ever was 170 bucks and the highest price was 280. Btw, camelcamelcamel is a great tool to evaluate a current price on Amazon and helps you decide if the price is high/low or likely to fall in the future.

this one is on sale
These are the most common 144hz monitors from Overwatch players: Asus VG248QE and BenQ ZOWIE XL2411P (they’re quite old). I suggest u to check AOC G2590PX aswell (pretty recent instead).
Note that Jacob’s monitor is extra good if you have an AMD video card (freesync). If you have an Nvidia card the manufacturer probably has a G sync version.

U’re not going to find it: G-Sync is more expensive and doesn’t worth his price for Overwatch.
Get the benq one.
If you’re gonna get a 144hz monitor, make sure your card can at least pump out 144fps constantly and reliably.
144hz is sexy. Once you switch, you’ll wonder where its been all your life…
How can I check…
I can say your PC can run 144 fps without any doubt. Also, I forgot the Viewsonic XG2401, pretty common too.
Thanks!

When I got mine I thought I had wasted my money, I saw no difference. A while later I was playing on a 60hz monitor and it was painful… it felt like I was watching a slideshow. Moral of the story is you can take things for granted pretty fast apparently.
With overwatch, it’s easy to adjust settings to make it pump more fps. But at the cost of graphical quality. Just play around with the OW settings on the video options menu
A 1070 shouldnt have issues though.
A friend of mine runs it on high settings and gets more than 180fps easy on his.
I have a 1080ti on my mine so i cant really give you off hand experience. Mine runs contanstly at 300fps on Epic settings. It’s overkill…
Oh yeah…
forgot.
You need to have at least a display port or an hdmi 1.4 or above to handle the 144hz freq. you need to have the input and output. These days on gamj monitors, they usually have a display port and an hdmi 2.0 hook up.
And you need an hdmi. 1.4 or higher cable to use if you are going to use an hdmi I/O
Your 1070 should have both of these as well.
I’ve got the Asus VG248QE - 144Hz 1ms and it’s pretty cool. Yea it’s a TN panel so the colors, especially black aren’t that great (you can tweak some things) but it’s super precise, ideal for shooter.
im so sorry i made mistake i have a 1060
I’m using a DVI cable.
6GB?
Please guys use Display Port lmao.
im confused what do you mean
If your monitor came with a DVI came it’s likely the DVI-D Dual Link, which is what you need to use to get 144hz.
