Can we get the same MMR reset that GM is getting for all ranks?
I’d like to see all ranks get reset back to the rank below at the start of each season. For example, 2500-2999 at the end of the season gets reset to 2499 3000-3499 back to 2999 etc. It would force comp ques to actually be… competitive. People would have to fight to climb back up to where they were and make progress. No more stale individuals that haven’t gone up or down for 22 seasons and just play comp to “have fun”. Most other competitive games have this sort of MMR reset. Only in overwatch can you be 3900, take an extended break, do your placements when you come back and be +/- 250SR from the last time you placed. We need this in all ranks.

GM is not getting a MMR reset. SR for placement is being cappedwhich is totally difference. After placement their MMR is being factored into the matchmaking.
MMR reset honestly would be very painful to deal with for lower ranks. They’d deal with getting roflstomped while the MMR recalculates itself

The only way I think an MMR reset would work is if Bronze ~ Diamond players got reset while Masters and GM players didn’t. Would rather not see Bronze players dueling GMs in comp, lol.

Competitive starts in 3500.
They won’t reset because they don’t employ enough math people. For now, let the peasants handcuff themselves into OQ. No gamer should ever bother with that mode ever again. It starts at bronze 1 
And majority of games its single player competitive up to plat. From plat above it starting to be competitive team game.
3500+ would be team comp game where people started using brain too instead of just pressing buttons.
no…plz never do a reset again. it just cuases chaos and a gold game in theory is generally either plat/low diamond or low gold/silver…and thats not even counting the whole plat/silver party exploit or the “within 500sr” tank setups.

It is from FFA deathmatch. My role q elo is usualy high plat/low dia.
And again, its not elitism, i am just being real. 3500 player or higher is simply better than me in almost every aspect. Just like I am better than gold player of how is gold player better than bronze.
