If your using a mouse and keyboard on console your cheating plain and simple. Not only is mouse and keyboard better then controller, but you also have the benefit of aim assist when you do it on console making it the easiest aiming platform besides aimbot if you want to mouse and keyboard go play on pc.

While I understand your frustration, youâre coming from a place of ignorance. Have you ever tried to use an adaptive device? I bet you havenât or you would understand itâs limitations. If your argument was true then why should a wheel be allowed for a racing game? Or why would sony sell their own version of a m/k? People in your rank are in your rank for a reason if they where that much better then you then the âcheaterâ would be in a higher skill rating.

I think youâre confused and mean to be complaining about smurfs.
Even with M&K it doesnât mean youâre good even if there was this aim assist advantage.

The problem is that nobody on controller can make it too top 500 because itâs literally just filled with keyboard players, some have multiple accounts in top 500 cause smurfs are free on console, Iâm teetering on the edge of top 500 but when you go against a keyboard player with a controller itâs just impossible to compete 1v1 yes there is definitely keyboard players that arenât that good and are actually a lower rank than me but it doesnât change the fact that with a keyboard your skill ceiling is so much higher then everyone else
If it didnât give an advantage then top 500 would consist of mostly controller players

There is something Blizz could do about it though! Either implement MKB support for all so everyone is on equal footing and can use it if they choose OR use the APIs that are available to them to detect the MKB adapters and disable their use/punish them.
No one on console wants to play against mouse and keyboard. They are clearly using their input advantage to play against people with a disadvantage. They canât hold their own weight on PC so they come to console.
Happens in siege to. Itâs just sad.
I mean I have seen people playing in diamond with a GameCube controller on PC but thatâs just a troll.

I have multiple T500 friends on each role on Xbox who use controller. If you play Xbox and ever want advice on how they did it they would be happy to give you pointers.
Yes some of them complain about M&K but they all got it despite the discrepancy youâre talking about.
Playing with different hardware is not cheating/throwing, imo.

Overwatch already blocks mouse and keyboard use on console because Blizzard consider using it on console an unfair advantage (and, according to their reporting system, anything that gives an unfair advantage is cheating).
The issue is with devices like the XIM adapter which fools the console into thinking a mouse & keyboard is actually a controller.

No they didnât. Why are you lying? Blizzard said it would support m/kb once microsoft/sony consoles fully support it.

You misunderstand. APIs exist for developers to use which specifically detect devices like xim and can tell them apart from actual controllers.
Native mouse and keyboard use is just not implemented, or if it is then itâs disabled.

Go play pc with a controller then hop back onto xbox. On my main account i jumped from gold/low plat to mid diamond because im used to playing in mid/high plat on another pc account using a conch vs M&K daily.
Is it annoying when you get a really good m&K Player on xbox sure is it unbeatable no. I play on pc daily using a controller (please dont bully me i know im a scrub but i unfortunately have a pretty sever learning disability and im having a hard time learning m&k) and i know im playing with everyone using M&K and i play just fine⊠i also use almost max sensitivity so maybe thats why i dont find a problem keeping up.

People who grind on you for using a controller on pc need to get over themselves. If youâre more comfortable with it, then use it. One guy used a fishing rod controller in, I think, a Smashbro tournament.

I understand your concerns, but there is nothing Blizzard can do about it.
The final word is Microsoftâs and Sonyâs, theyâre the ones who decide whether or not M&K can be used on their platform or not.

Were consoles only made for the use of a controller?
Consoles have so much potential, yet we see it as a controller only setup.
I get the authenticity, though it doesnât seem like the consoles are made to work against M&K specifically.
Note that cheating is considered by Blizzard:
