According to overwatch cavalry on twitter, someone named Jared Neuss confirmed they will be added in a future season!
I’m still mad honestly that the dev team haven’t been talking about this! Like what’s these “issues” that prevents them from releasing them?? And why has it taken them this long to talk about it??
Just guessing here, but I imagine if they tried to explain their issues they’d be met with a lot of “just fix it loool” type comments from people who don’t know what they’re talking about and they’d rather not deal with them. I’m sure a lot of people would also be understanding and interested in hearing their process though and it’s a shame we’re kept in the dark about a lot of things.
I hope this will also include the player icons.
I would be more inclined to celebrate this if the name cards were given out as a free perk for those who bought the corresponding bundles while also being made individually purchasable for those who didn’t. Would go a long way in showing good will towards the community…
indie studio too small for this kind of bug. oh sorry, they have to answer the phone call confirming the trillions of dollars to start an OWL again this year. 
it would be trouble not to organize it in the established times rather than a product that does not seem too patched with bugs and half-fixed.
in any case I don’t care about this content: my weekly gameplay of only 60 coins is not even worth the cost of a voiceline/spray (75 coins) why should a 100 coin player card be worth it? 
Wait are you saying we get them free for buying the bundle they were supposed to be in?
No guarantee of that. They’ll just be made available somehow in-game for us, that’s all we know as of right now. Could be for full individual price since they weren’t charged in the original bundles.
Yeah i can totally see this being the case a 100%, bit at the same time i would like developers to be more open to the community and actually tell us about what’s going on than being kept in the dark…

Yeah it would be nice if this was the case! I mean they are gonna do it with the ashe skin and give it to us who bought it for free.
So it would make the most sense to do the same with these ones as well.
