Never got it, never opened it and it does not show up in lootbox history.

The question I’d ask is whether you earned the loot box or purchased enough tiers to earn it at around an hour after the season started?
All Season 15 loot boxes (as well as any new Season 16 loot boxes earned within the first hour) were opened at around 11:55am PT.
Does it show up in the “Legendary Loot Box” history? You need to specifically be on that tab when going to “Details” then “History” in order to see the history of your Legendary Loot Boxes.

it does not show up in the legendary tab either, i only have the three from last battlepass. I did get the lootbox within the first hour of the new season tho.
